I’ll keep this one short and positive. With the recent Arena patch I must say I am having a ton of fun. Finally us PvP players now have something to fight for with the rewards track. Plus the PvP arena is a nice way for me to log on on crush some players without the tedious need to prepare and spend gold. THANK YOU!

Thanks for the positive feedback on 3v3 PvP Arenas! We had a blast developing and play-testing it. And it was a ton of fun to take on some content creators to show off the mode (Arenas: Devs Vs. Creators Stream - News | New World).
I enjoy the casual and no loss nature of it (no durability loss, no consumables, etc.). It makes it fun to test out different builds and tactics.
We wanted to get this feature out quickly for players to experience, but know there is a lot more we can do to improve the variety (more maps, 1v1s, 5v5s, etc.) and play experience (separate queues for solo & full stacks, private matches, and matchmaking). It will take time to get these enhancements built and some are complicated, so no time lines for them yet.

One more thing I like to add is when you see more off meta builds performing well that means the game is becoming balanced. Also when you see pvpers saying things like “good luck have fun” in the beginning of a match and “gg” at the end it means they respect the game and the space. I am seeing more of that also. Nice job.

I would 10/10 love a 1v1 arena, it’d give people who want to duel a place to congregate without having to worry about a healer interrupting your duel in the heat of the moment and feeling like a fool swinging to air.
also, on the DL can you protect people who are currently dueling from receiving healing from external sources? usually, it’s accidental when a healer heals you but trolls exist.
private matches will be very good have it in future, with ranked system

2v2, ranked (with a good mmr system), and cross server, would be a dream come true! For now I am loving 3v3 arenas. Most fun content yet, by far!

Please prioritize a 2v2 bracket for the PvP Arena next. That would be the perfect bracket size as it is the lowest size where you still play as a team, and the combat in New World truly shines in smaller scale.
