I don’t have any specifics, All I want is roadmap to see if they actually know what they doin and got long term repair/new content plan.
- More variety in endgame content.
- A road map of some kind to get a look at the direction of the game
- PvP arena or game modes like CTF, TDM, FFA etc.
rebuff fire dmg, that is all
-
Open World Elites HP reduced. (Can’t even do a supposedly solo quest with 2 people in Ebonscale right now because of this)
-
Gear set organization or the ability for folders like another player stated above in BOTH inventory and storage. … Also more storage
-
Cost reduction on the “feature” to pull items from other zone storage… 2k gold to pull a stack of ore when I can buy the same amount for 200g off the trading post is … just ignorant.
-
Raodmap for the future updates.
-
Crafting revamp. At the moment, by the time I will be able to craft items at 600 ilvl, I will have a full set of 600s from world drops and dungeons for each role (Melee, Ranged, Tank and Healer).
-
Leveling dungeons scaling for max levels. 2 End Game dungeons aren’t enough. You have 4 other dungeons that are beautiful in design that are only worth running (for gear at least) while leveling. Once you’re max level, there is no point aside from assisting others and a little bit of gold income which is countered by repair bills.
-
Increase in Azoth cap.
-
Quest XP scaling. A few more quests would be great but really, the XP scaling on side quests need to be adjusted. I am not a fan of the town board system. A player who does all side quests and every side quest in each zone should not be hitting a level wall of 3-4 levels before being able to progress. It just feel really bad.
-
Slight reduction in Healer aggro. I swear healing aggro is 2x what a tank with a carnelian gem has and the aggro range is huge…
I am sure there are more.
- Development teams who know what they’re doing.
- Game systems designers who actually have a clue.
- Management that cares about longevity of the game.
One:
To all attention-seekers, emotionally-dependent (aka trolls): go play another game and leave our forum alone.
Joined Nov 16 and already thinks this is “their forum”.
More weapons
More zones/pvp modes/expeditions
Tuning orbs changed to make mutated expeditions with 64-66 elite replacements (66 elite amrine, Shattered obelisk, depths, dynasty docks)
Apparently the main issue is the game engine that NW uses (Lumberyard), it sucks.
Imagine an MMO where the users client has priority…
Lumberyard is actually pretty okay. If anything, its modular architecture should allow the development team bring in additional features quickly and without having to do too much ground work. Whether or not they’re using it efficiently and properly, I can’t say. From what I can see (i.e. each update breaks ten other things), I’d say they aren’t. This is a common problem when you take a modular system and try to hammer in customizations that are architecturally incompatible with the baseline modules. Any additional updates keep breaking new stuff, but it’s a problem of the hammered-in customizations, not of the framework. From that perspective, Lumberyard is fine - it’s the NW dev team that screwed it up.
The one part where Lumberyard seems to be lacking is efficient network code - which, for a MMO with action combat is a significant issue. Again, I can’t say how much of it is an inherent issue of the framework and how much of it were customizations… From the “Former AGS Developer Explanation” that used to float around the forums, I’d say the original Lumberyard code wasn’t the best to begin with; probably decent enough for a standard MMO but not for action-based combat. And AGS’s changes somehow magnified the problem, without actually giving the dev team any chance to rework the network code to make it more efficient…
- Be able to Slot a Carnelian Gem in Shields for Tanking to free up sword Gem slot so hybrid SS tanks have some option other than Str for damage.
- See #1
- Server Mergers for the poor backwater servers with only a handful of desperate players left holding out for mergers so they can stay together since they have formed tight communities.
The problem with Lumberyard is you have a Dev team with only a handful of people who actually know the engine at AGS. the majority of the team is not experienced with the engine and it is not a well known engine.
Basically they have taken auto mechanics and asked them to work on a jet engine. They are trying to fix issues and constantly breaking them due to lack of experience with the engine itself. Also the management of the game was short sited and never took into account how hard players would go out of there way to exploit/cheat the game content and bugs. This was solely the fault of the Leaders of the Development for not understanding this is how it will be in every major online title. This is all I can say at the moment.
The bad balancing of the game is just bad decisions made by management to prolong existing content that is being adjusted on the fly but the other issues with bugs, dupes etc. are not do to incompetence just a serious learning curve issue trying to be worked out as they go.
Are you a refunder?

I love this idea. It’s a shame other tanking roles couldn’t utilize, but I know focusing SS tank I always hated I couldn’t get hybrid damage while tanking.

Transfer token to be issued for those who already used one. They are now stuck on dead servers and cannot transfer with their companies who want to move. This would be my 1. 2 and 3 most important thing to change right now.
-
Reversion of mob difficulty …too difficult my group now. ( i know get good…but we are trying and the change was so discouraging)
-
Have a date sold column in the trade post or figure out a way that one company cannot own the whole server.
-
revert all perks, weapons, and heals to 7 weeks ago.
-
open world, non capped full scale invasions.
-
no watermark… certain mobs drop x gearscore and legendary items

Are you a whiteknight troll?
1.) Hit-stun on melee light and heavy attacks.
2.) Reduced equipment drops from mobs to promote crafting.
3.) Tune mobs to be engaging and enjoyable for 3-5 man groups. Harsh loot-split handles zergs so no need to overtune mobs.
As things stand, it’s just a lousy grind right now and not satisfying for the majority of players to engage in.
1 - Building, farming, taming
2 - Factionless characters that don’t even have pvp toggle button but with the ability to improve camps and do all quests even without a faction -faction quests
3 - swimming
