With right perks, you can use 1 health (~40% hp) potion, 1 reg (~40% but not at 1 moment), 2 mana potions (~20% hp) in ~24 seconds. In other words: 100% hp regen every 24 seconds.

True, however if they use any specs that stun you, you are unable to do the potion animation

Just use trinket for 30% faster potion cooldown. Then you can make it faster. And dont forget the food.

Look at this guy with a musket. He plays very good, but still cant kill anyone with heavy armor less than 45sec.
Imageine these duels with potions… Then one way to end: He get caught and die in 3sec. Because he just anble to burst down the enemy.

heal from mana potions? Healthy toast
Increase selfheal? Divine

He is also using light armor which is known to be very underpowered

it’s not even that. He is looking for a scenario where he can deal dmg, get a kill, be mobile and come out on top.

He is also most likely using the same Tactics for survival and what is gonna happen is the devs are gonna take a hard look at health return sources and it gonna mess up his build hard lol.
That is why ive been hesitant on healing being looked at with blanket % reduction debuffs or forcing healing to be only on certain armors; you start on that slope and it turns the game closer to retail wow.

Add the time that stuns make you unable to use pots. You can’t consider all 24 seconds for potion usage if you are unable to use them during portions of that time. I’d say you can keep them stunlocked for at least 10 seconds with a war hammer or spear?

That actually looks very balanced. and each of his musket hits still slaps, he had one guy get to half health before getting into melee against his rapier. Looked like a 50/50 win/death rate with him wining on tactical use of the respote and gap closer to escape the great axe snare skill.

The pvpers in my company rate the musket/rapier the strongest of the musket combos and this is proving why. Perfect mix of melee/trap/rapier; im getting chills watching the decent gameplay lol.

our company rates hammer/hatch/ice gauntlet as A tier selections after S tier rapier. That’s a strong selection of things to use in a wide selection of combat.

healers are entiled to heal.

dpser are not.

no dpser should be able to heal every 15 to 25 seconds to full health.

and before you say no,

all pots are on separate timers

so you can use a 3800 heal health pot

a 400 to 500 heal over time pot

and a 220 hot from food

Yeah pack up with 200pots, pick up your heavy armor and dodge dance 20 min in front of a bow or musket player. They run out of ammo faster than you die :smiley:

just get the 25% cooldown reduction for pots on earring. Then enjoy chugging the pots every 20 seconds.
But this gives players the chance to win in some scenarios, where they successfully avoid dmg by dodging.
i’d say, increase the animation time of using the pot. so taking a pot requires 2 seconds to work, cant be cancelled and requires full stamina.

this is one of the more resonable suggestions ive seen. I like the idea of an extended animation.

potions heal for more than that.

if people dont know, there are 2 potions on completely different timers for healing.

the normal health potion
and
the regen pot.

the regen pot heals for a lot over a smal period of time, while the regular pot is the burst.

these 2 use separate timees, so you can one or the other, or both at the same time.

then you throw in unlimited use food for another 220 a tick heal.

this adds up to too much healing given to non healing classes.

devs need to put the potions on the same timer, and make that timer once a minute.

if you equip a lifestaff then potions get greyed out.

Health potions should be on a 45s timer not 30, and regen potions should maybe be on the 30 timer. especially with perks like -potion CD timers.

I am so bored with world pvp right now. 1v1 is only playable when enemy is plays bad or totally under geared and using light armor.

lol wut, no both 1vx and 1v1 is only playable when they dont have a lifestaff. I can kill heavies in light armor
