Ya I can see that it does kinda fit the heavy voidbent set.
I have actually had other players ask me where I got an armor skin they like. I have to disappoint them and tell them itâs the heavy Orichalcum crafted set.
That says something about the design differences in the game. Originally there was not only supposed to be full pvp but also a heavy draw on Lovecraftian themes.
This is probably where these styles came into play.
I actually donât mind the more historically accurate pieces. Obviously they can look clownish for some. Yet one of the draws to this game for me was that it wasnât set in still another generic high fantasy world.
So far the game seems to keep moving in that direction anyways.

I dunno but for me the Prime stuff has been far better than almost anything in the store.
Oh yeah, if only because they arenât asking me to pay for⌠whatever that Valentineâs Skin was.
I just donât know like⌠where the inspiration comes from. How the hell do you design a skin and arrive at these designs, Prime or store alike?

Perfect. It comes with a beak for me to scrounge for whateverâs fallen to the ground, that works out well since after buying this, the only possibility is that I clearly want to treat myself like a fucking animal.

People are right, headgear is the real sticking point here. Itâs kind of constantly⌠I donât know⌠needlessly conceptual? Like someoneâs trying to find designs that have ânever been done,â but youâre trying to reinvent wheels into a square shape and Iâm tellinâ ya it isnât⌠it doesnât⌠work like that.

I like helmets like these;
The closest match atm is the Runic Bear helmet but it doesnât quite fit right on the character. Kind of like a little kid wearing a full sized football helmet

Itâs not that all of them are bad, itâs that they tend to these nice designs and then these totally whackjob designs like the love fool(?) or this one. The runic sets are perfectly humble but strong designs I think, the bear especially, my worry is theyâre not really cash shop items. Youâd expect grandeur, I guess, but not that kinda⌠ministry of silly hats grandeur.
Iâm actually a huge sucker for the two in the shop with the angelic motifs. I was low-key saving my free prime biscuits to buy one of them.
Only thing I would add here is that the shoulders have to go.
Again the current Prime set is a decent one, but as you noted without the helmet.
The feedback has been the same for damn near every skinâbe it store, prime or twitchâthat NW has released. Theyâre either Fortnite-wannabe skins or second-tier Power Rangers villain skins. Can we just get some skins that look like normal armor?
