Prime loot for January?

More than anything I want to be able to dye my skins that I’ve bought in store so I don’t look like everyone else that has it. Would definitely love to see more of an Assassin like tattered/torn dark hooded shroud or cloak type of skin. Kind of got old school Ultima Online in mind.

Valentines day drops?? Cute lovey emotes, gaudy valentines suits? Giant, ridiculous heart-shaped hats?!

Make it function exactly like WoW’s. Simple. Let’s you see full sets and individual pieces. Let’s you mix and match pieces in a preview window.

Awesome, thanks! i got the idea from Diablo 3 because i love how transmog works in that game. I forgot to add that maybe players would be able to transmog heavy armor pieces to look like light armor pieces? and vice versa, you get the idea. But that would perhaps require addition of inspect other player’s gear ability so you couldn’t confuse others too much :stuck_out_tongue:

Also i have another suggestion, when adding any elemental damage gem to, lets say staff or void gauntlet, could their projectile colors change accordingly? just like those gems affect
other weapons and their effects too.

Echoing the calls for the transmog system, plus allowing dyes to apply to the store bought skins as well please.

And as an additional request, please try and properly implement cloth physics if possible for the skins. I noticed especially with the Chlidren of the Light robe from the Wheel of Time drops, there was a half hearted attempt to implement some sort of cloth physics – result is mixed, with clipping etc. there but it’s an attempt of some sort. It sure would be cool to have a cloak that flaps / snaps in the wind or according to movement, little flags hanging from backs etc.

Awesome! hopefully that feature gets added to the game at some point  can’t wait to shoot void colored healing staff projectiles or ice colored fireballs etc :open_mouth:

Totally unpopular opinion but some skins from the 1600s would be nice.

Come to think of I suppose the pirate and thespian skins were from that era or close to it.

NB: not being self deprecatory but like you I can tell which way the wind is blowing. :partly_sunny:

Probably allow us to burn (delete) a item into a pattern that can be dyed before (or dyed first then deleted) being converted into a pattern that lets us use it as a skin.

also add new icons for light medium heavy to the name plate since with skins as it is now you cant tell if some one is light medium or heavy (bad for pvp)

Well along with pirate gear perhaps common gear for naval explorers.

As you can see there already are items that reflect the era ingame. Yet there are still aspects of the era that could use some exploration, if you’ll pardon the pun.

While I used to enjoy a variety of styles my personal subjective tastes lean towards the clothing of Western Europe and Colonial America.

However, there is a remarkable lack of variety in the clothing.

From Ebonscale you already have the assets for more Asian themed clothing from the era.

Perhaps military clothing of the people of India during the British occupation.

Even representation from the Middle East would be good.

Then of course there is always the Ottoman Empire from the 1600s.

Of course you face the twin edges of improper cultural appropriation and having no representation at all. Perhaps this is why the clothing is all themed from Western Europe.

These were just some ideas I had and hope they help stir a conversation in the art department.

One last thing - while it hasn’t been a tidal wave of response there have been some concerns raised by female gendered players concerning the clothing design for them.

Even I have thought the work was being done by someone unfamiliar with the female form. Perhaps they could benefit from a short sabbatical to visit some museums, costume designers, or libraries in order to improve their craft.

How do these always end up so long. They don’t look this long when typing them.

Flaming passion (for the subject).

also per the glam girl thread.

there are a LOT of options in the Asian aesthetics, the new Greek stuff coming up, potential Vikings to the north (runic fox skin). indigenous peoples stuff (assuming conquistadors means the new world ( (s) Americas)

1.) the ability to hide all armor except legs.
2.) a pair of flowery swimming trunks.
3.) sandals for the feet.
4.) the ability to change hair and skin style and color and basically redo the character customization.

Yes, yes, yes, lots of sizes and breeds. :cat: and a little cat love would be appreciated.

I like the simple equip to get the skin way. Keeps it simple.

Suggestion related to nameplate, let us see our own nameplate and title by adding an toggle option. Feels weird when playing New World and i can’t see my own name and title.

The greatest reward of all; The return of stagger to melee lights and heavies so we can bring back skill-based combat.

We need more life staff skins please

You don’t get the loot from watching the series. You get it from watching streamers on twitch that have drops enabled.
