Prime loot for January?

Bots are not THE problem of the game, sure it is annoying, but the dominating companies on the server make more gold just by holding the territory than the bots ever generate. I just assume, that the companies sell the gold irl then as would the the gold-farmers.

I would love to see different approach in managing the territories other than through the gold - someting like enhancing the bonuses to crafting, gathering, etc. - and the “tax gold” being possible to use only on the governing the territories and buying further temporary buffs.

The game works as in real life, those who used opportunity (eg. expoloits, weak opponents) got rich, and now through strong army using money to build up, they are getting even richer.
The problem is it is not fun for most players, and this is game, servers are small, so options are limited. :frowning:

I think it would be nice to see a permanent dye tub with colors we do not currently have like pitch black, bright white, blood red, etc. If you look up UO they had a time frame where Black Dye Tubs were given away. For us, it could be a Prime Membership item. Only those with Prime can get this Black Dye Tub and dyes any clothing dark black or pure white. If you want to know what will get people to get prime to get your gift, make it something like that. Its worth the membership price imo. If its just one of these dye pieces, it wont be enough to entice though. Just being honest.

Another thing would be rice hats. Love rice hats and many gamers do too.

Hoods, can never have enough hood variations.

Maybe, create an item that allows players to keep their armor look for another item. I have seen some scarecrow looking fools out here. They look awesome. But… if they want to get PvP armor, they have to give up their look. It would be cool to be able to set your look based off of the pieces you have owned too. So if I farmed for a certain hat, but the stats suck, I can change the look of a better stat item to look like the garbage stat item. Yeah.

If you all could just add a transmog/outfit feature, that would be amazing. It would be nice to mix and match some of these skins, especially the winter event weapons, but that’s not how gearing works, and there is no way to use the skin without using the gear. Sorry if this has been discussed in patch notes somewhere. I’ve only just come back after a month and a half, and haven’t been able to keep up with the updates.

Currently, both genders wear the same armor, which is enough for some, others would rather have more variants. The idea would be for one armor two variants. One male and one female. To give the players a free choice what and how they want to play their character, you could add an option that allows the player to choose between the two variants.

Since there are nearly no variants in the game, these would have to be brought in first. The female “variants” that have been added are admittedly very difficult to distinguish from the male ones and are more or less the same models only with a slightly different torso.
Here we would like to see armors that please the female body more but remain classy. Isabella’s armor would be a good example of this.

The character editor would of course also have to be mentioned in connection with customization and urgently needs an overhaul, as it is more like an alpha placeholder instead of a full-fledged editor.

Piaso skins for those loyal to NW

Thanks!

I’d love a transmog system (hate that word though)

Many of us care a lot about our character looks, and it would give a lot more variety if we could make equipment look how we want.

I know it’s probably not the most pressing issue right now, but hopefully soon we’ll able to make it.

Personally I would really love to see some more rogue like pieces of gear, both in terms of leather as well as plated armor. As a few examples:

In addition to that, what I’d also like to see is Templar like plated armor sets, which I do think would certainly fit the setting of the game as well.

And just generally speaking some more daring heavy armor sets.

And a good example of what is already ingame in this sense, is the Skeletal Chevalier set.

I think I would like to see actual armor and weapon models added to the damn game and not through these stupid gimmicks. smh.

dunno what this guy is on about.

at least 60% of the gear in this game are relatively properly modeled armor and weapon.

realistic at the least.

the rest are fantasy stuff added in from the various mob types. or greatly exaggerated for some reason (hammers great axes)

its just a shame that the former tends to be grouped up in the useless throwaway category. or you have to go out of your way up 2 mountains and an ocean of money and mats to craft your self a set in a style you like.

One of my favorite emotes from any game is /playdead. Would love to see this introduced to NW.

Thank you for even listening and giving us feedback on this, it’s greatly appreciated! An in-game system would be the necessary start, but the editor itself is also very very limited and would need to be reworked. I will try to give my impressions of it here.

The pre-made faces are in my opinion neither beautiful nor rich in detail, they seem rather lovelessly modeled and are for the most part really ugly. There should be a slider system or something similar here, so that you can design the face the way you like it. The body would also need sliders or something similar, because currently everyone looks the same in terms of stature. One is more masculine, the other more feminine, and that’s it. More muscular, fuller, more masculine, more feminine, a little smaller, a little bigger, of course everything within limits, would be a good improvement.

With the hair and beards it looks unfortunately not different. Neither beautiful nor fitting to the timeline and the lore. Personally, I’m not a fan of the bright colors for beards and hair and the beards for women even less, especially with the setting of New World. If everything was at least nicely designed, then maybe you could overlook it, but unfortunately it’s not. More beautifully designed hair models, more natural colors and possibly, at least in the openworld, animated hair would be a clear improvement to the current state. Adjustable for players with weaker computers of course.

The eyes are “ok” at best and could use a little more life through more natural colors. In-game, the faces already look very lifeless anyway, as they have no facial expressions or idles. Possibly this would freshen it all up a bit.

There are very few scars and tattoos and they are either not pretty or out of place as you can’t place them where you want. Makeup options for female characters are completely missing and should be added. This would make the faces even more different. Tattoos and scars for the body would also be nice to see.

Maybe it would be possible to choose between different idles or animation sets. How the character idle, for example, noble or warlike. How his movements look like, for example more masculine or feminine. Further or even more individual sets could possibly be offered via the store or via events, like the emotes.

Identification with the character is currently almost impossible in various ways, especially if you care about detail. In my opinion, identification with the character in an MMO is crucial for long-term motivation. These changes could make a difference, because you’re currently only content with what you have, but you’re not really satisfied with it.

Wizard skin. Was gonna say booty shorts but decided not as I don’t wanna see that warrior in them.

More end game content and functional PvP

Agreed, I just picked one of the two faces that could pass for an Asian man, but it still looks off to me, one of my favorite parts of games is customizing my character so I was very disappointed in the character creator for a game that came out in 2021.

Agree about the hair as well, half are period relevant but the other half aren’t. I’d also like more facial hair with different textures, most in game now work well for white characters but some look off if you play an Asian or black character; added facial hair with Asian hair texture and black hair texture would be appreciated too.

What incentive will there be to buy skins if you can just transmog to the free gear appearance you like most? The cash shop needs to have relevance without turning into p2w/timesavers/crap like that, right? How does one rectify the two, to make both a thing? Currently there are few skins, it is not going to stay like that though.

The game needs a massive increase in that stuff. I would like to see battlepasses, too. So even at 60 you have new progression to do & xp from things still count/count toward something instead of just be pointless once you hit 60. It should be hard, though. Long grind to get to the top tier stuff. Maybe no time limits. You know, something that would work good for an MMORPG.

Seasonally drop new battlepasses that you can buy & do at your own liesure based on the items/mats/skins/rewards/weapons inside that suit you.

battlepasses would be awesome.

Created and can be found here: Feedback and discussion about the current character editor. Have fun discussing

To make store skins more attractive and relevant, here are a few suggestions:

  • Camp skins can ONLY be bought through the store (if you were to remove the one you can craft)
  • More advanced glow effects for skins where you can set the amount of glow
  • Animated parts on the armor can only be found on store skins
  • Skins in the store can have modular and customizable parts. Meaning that you can have a staff, an axe, some armor, where you can chose to hide certain parts of it. For example. The Halloween Life Staff I bought looked cool, but I really wanted it without the spiders on it. Since I bought it for real money, maybe add a customization option to remove the spiders, or even change the glow color of the staff? Another example would be helmets with or without horns… you chose.
  • Two things I loved with the Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch was that it was exclusive and that it played all kinds of jingles and other cool sounds. No other skins since (i think) have made sounds. This is an awesome feature I would gladly pay for.
  • Exclusives, exclusives, exclusives. Cool looking skins that can’t ever be found in-game.
  • Pick and chose housing items instead of bundles. You pay, let’s say €10 and get to chose five items, pay €20 and chose 12 and so on. Point being that a lot of the bundles don’t look that good but only certain items.

More items, exclusives too. Something that really makes you want to buy it. Lower prices?
On the other hand, transmog adds a lot of variety and it could have a coin fee aswell.

Already have but CM and Devs don’t have discussions in actual non fluff feedback threads.
