It worked just fine for me until today :)))
Now can’t really do anything. Can’t use the Trading Post. Nothing. Every town board I open or anything that I interact with is just resetting non stop.
Yes same issue with market. After I walked away from the trading post, I got a message that an item has been posted for sale some minutes after I got the “request throttled.” But I’m not trying to wait several minutes to post each item
In my case every time I open the market it just resets the current window and brings me back to the main market window. It does it every 15 seconds or so. For example if I am cutting a tree it will just stop mid action. If I have an arrow on the bow it will just reset it. And so on.
And this flashy resetting stuff starts while I’m in loading screen.
Exact same issue here. Only happened after update. I also had some garbled message pop up briefly when my character finally loaded in.
So. After 2 updates still can’t use the trade post. Can’t buy arrows, nothing. Every time I try it “reloads” the page and after that if I try to buy it says: “ITEM AT A DIFFERENT POST”. If I try to sell
it says “REQUEST THROTLED”.
This is a core part of the game. Can’t gather, storage is full. Can’t buy ammo or anything else I need from the Trading Post for my gameplay.
I guess I have to play only 50% of the game. Even if we payed for 100%.
Since the patch I have an issue where it appears my character is attempting to perform another action every couple of seconds, this is causing my character to glitch when running and cancel any other action my character is performing i.e mining crafting chopping etc.
It’s made the game completely unplayable.
That is the reason behind my trading post problem also. I want to use heavy attack on weapons? The moment I keep the button pressed a bit longer it glitches and takes me out of the animation. If I mine or chop trees it just stops after one swing. Takes me 3-4 attempts. Every 10-15 sec it glitches. Really frustrating.

Thanks for the report. I’m really sorry about the problem you’re having.
Our Dev Team is aware of some issues after last patch like the ones on the posts. Please try the following in order to restore/update the files on your computer.
Here are some steps to try to solve the issue. We know that you already had tried some and it can be repetitive, but many other players were able to fix it after doing the steps. Please try going step by step as follows.
- Check for pending BIOS updates.
- Verify that the drivers are correct and up to date: New World Compatible GPU Driver Update - Support
- Run a file check: Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files
- Check the EAC: Locate the game directory, and then select the “EasyAntiCheat” subfolder. Click EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe to run the installer as an administrator, fix it if necessary.
Note: The Steam Games installation directory will generally be in: C:\Program Files\ Steam (x86)\ SteamApps\ Common - Avoid using VPN, and you should remove other programs such as bots to mine or fish or to avoid being AFK. (if installed for any reason) Even overlays to get unofficial maps for the game.
- Check out New World System Requirements - Support | Amazon Games it is very important that you are using Windows 10, because for 11, New World is not yet optimized.
- If running Discord, run Discord As Administrator as well.
After all steps above: - Shut down the computer completely. Turn it on, then run the Steam client as administrator, Discord as Administrator and try the game again.

Already did all of this. Nothing works. Game worked perfectly fine until the 28 October update.
As for now:
I can’t use the Trading Posts at all.
The crafting stations takes some times even 15-20 attempts.
All the big chests/quests that implies an long E press keep resetting.
All the heavy attacks keep resetting.
If I want to gather, mine, skin etc. requires a lot of tries.
But for me personally the most disturbing one is the fact that I can’t use the Trading Post at all. Because I can’t sell anything my storage is full. Because of that I can’t gather anymore. I can’t buy anything that I need for my gameplay. Things like potions, food, ammo etc.
All because of this glitch/reload/reset bug going on. It affects players in different ways. The only thing that everyone has in common is that this bug was not there until the 28 October update.
Is just absurd by now. Can’t really play the game like this.
I followed this and it helped most of the issues, though I do continue to stop mining/chopping/etc for no reason.
Don’t have Windows 11. Nothing changed on my computer. The only thing that changed was the 28 October update. Had no trouble with this bug before that.

i’ve been having the exact same issue, logged a ticket, spoke with support, no assistance, its honestly killing off my enjoyment for the game, it’s bad enough pvp/pve is busted but now can’t even craft/sell on the market without it glitching out every 3-4 seconds -_-
