I just found this picture and then I compared the shield with ingame shield from the store and the size is totally different, is much more smaller. Why is this? plz consider to resize the shield to how you guys tried to sell it in your promoting pictures.

I suppose it’s just a very very beneficial work of camera angle and zoom that gives the promo picture the illusion of a bigger shield. If you look for reference points, both shields kinda reach out as far as your characters elbows, they both reach down as far as your hip. I believe if you set the angle to be bit higher and zoom in on the shield slightly, it’ll look bigger, more like the promo picture.

I did some test with angles and I think the size is not same. See how much head of the character you can see in one and in the other picture. And if you change the angle you can see the elbows more, its like the first picture covers more area, not 100% sure tho.
Isnt it because of thr shield type? In new world there are 3 shields. Small. Medium. Tower shield. So probably it changes its size depending on which shield you use.
This shop shield only has one version.
? Its literally the same size, the only difference I see is that in the promo pic the shield is sitting higher up on the back (look at the belt).
Also the gear you are wearing is bulky and the one in promo is tighter plus camera angles and maybe fov.

Try change your FOV settings in the menu, maybe that changes the camera angle to make it bigger.

I bought the void tower shield thinking i could dye it because you can dye pretty much every shield even the store bought skins. Turns out you cant even dye the void tower shield skin
As far as I know, we can’t dye any store skin in NW.
you can dye pretty much all the shield skins but nothing else
When you use the “dye” option on a shield, see how you are using a dye on your default shield skin, not the shop shield one. Not sure what they did that but you can use the dye but only for the default shield skin.
