Proposal for a Point System for Mutation Limits instead of a numerical hard cap; m1 to m5 would be worth no points, allowing people to grind them indefinitely

As a starting point, I would suggest a 100-point a week limit.

M10 would be 5 points, so if you do all M10s, the weekly limit would be lowered to 20.

M9 would be 4 points, so if you do all M9s, the weekly limit would be 25.

M8 would be 3 points, so you could do 33 m8 runs.

M6 → 7, 2 points, up to 50 M6 or M7 runs a week.

While this new system would see a lower maximum allotment of M10 runs, it would be less-punishing thsn our current system of 25 mutated runs period, and furthermore would encourage higher-level players to help those who are struggling with M1 to M5 content, without being punished for doing so.

Because of the different weighed values, and the changes coming to mutation rewards, under a point-based system like this, the optimal method of farming shards would not necessarily be 20 M10 runs.

This is just a suggestion, lightly theorized, but we need a mutation limit system that will encourage or support helping others without downright punishing players for doing so. Under the current system, the playerbase is divided, and that’s the last thing you want in this game, especially with a growing playerbase.

Or, or, or…hear me out… Let players play they want with no restrictions at all on how they want to have fun. Sounds crazy I know!

I do not think you need to adjust the 25 runs limit.
Just do other activities…
Also good to go out and touch grass…
Else just start an Alt

M1 - M3 15 runs a week (easy)

M4 - M6 15 runs a week (medium)

M7 - M9 15 runs a week (hard)

M10 is just fine with 25 runs a week (insane)

thats how i would solve it… its so simple

I’d be down for this but good item drop rates need to be lowered dramatically

They are already super low. The number of “good” items I get from M10s isn’t super high. Maybe 1 is half decent per run. Perhaps others are having better luck?

I think this is the important line. Identifying the problem, and offering suggestions on possible solutions so that the devs get a general idea of feelings and can work out a solution that (hopefully) recognizes and works to accommodate the diverse player populations in a fair way.

I try to look at M10 loot in a monetary scale. An average M10 run drops about 30k worth of loot for me. A good run drops around 60k, and a great run drops 100k+ worth of loot.

luck dosent higher the chances of dropping legy loot, only named drops
