RIP musket… its insane. the weapon is only good in PvP and they nerf the only thing that make it strong. in my opinion 50m away is too close for a weapon that is ONLY VIABLE with 300 dext 150 int and no health (8.7k max) in light armor. i tested it and mages, bow player can touch u and delete u easy at that range. i dont concider it as a far range weapon with this huge nerf.

Most musket players don’t know how to read. They can only copy build guides from youtube.

Soon they’ll realize that it’s not as much of a nerf as they think it is.

The perk reduces damage fall off by 50% after 50 meters.

“Hit Your Mark” now applies to every standard shot. That’s up to a 15% increase at 100 meters on those shots.

Also, nothing is being done about Mortal Empowerment so everyone is freaking out about a nerf that’s barely a nerf.

Anyone who thinks this is an overall nerf or significantly reduces their damage is delusional. At most muskets will play a little bit closer to take advantage as it has slightly more mobility.

With these new musket changes I’m going to play musket.

Loading shots while moving is a huge buff.

The only thing they didn’t need to do is remove the stagger. The rest is a buff.

it could depending on the rate but i don’t know what it is. it would have to be 1% per meter which seems pretty extreme.

not at all brody. they are buffing the passive that increases crit damage based on how far they are. Get keen on either weapon or ring and it will be a practically unnoticeable change.

They are buffing the hell out of musket in the next patch when it comes to close range but nerfing it at long range.

Musket is already disgustingly overpowered at long range dps and mobility so it’s very much needed. The mobility and damage of muskets are getting buffed but now musket players will have to play closer and be aware of their surroundings.

50m is still too far. These changes are an overall buff, not a nerf.

All the buffs to musket outweigh the range nerf. Musket will still be very strong. As for bow they are nerfing that quite a bit. All the bow players will now actually hit their target for them to do damage now. A lot of “pro” bow players are going to realize that they are very bad with it lol.

I am so happy to hear about this change. :] I respect muskets that kill me within 50m. Outside of that - go play a sniper in CoD

The update doesn’t change that. 50% Reduction of Damage Fall Off using the perk passive. NOT 50% Damage Reduction.
