Every musket ability counts as a standard attack for musket. The only thing that doesn’t count as a standard attack for musket is sticky grenade, and traps.
You realize ALL of the musket shots are “standard shots” right?
This can only be true if damage fall off over 50mm was 100%. Which I dont think is true.

doing some testing right now. Can guarantee you that no musket actually knows the drop off, since we ALL use the drop off perk. Testing shows 1% damage fall off currently (roughly 100 damage difference). I sincerely DOUBT the nerf will only decrease musket damage by another 50 (yes, 50) damage and pull it off as a change. It’s going to be more substantial, which leads me to believe it WILL be a 50% flat damage nerf past 50m.
A fair nerf and they removed the stagger from sticky bomb too apparently. But now you can run while reloading.
Sounds like they are making muskets a medium range run and gun class not a long range sniper.

The only thing that counts as standard attacks are non charged left clicks; and shooters stance, cause that’s technically not a damage ability.
so it’s a 0.5% nerf, got it, muskets dead.
It’s been tested and tested. Every single shot that comes out of your musket is classified as a standard attack. It’s simple to test. Test Stopping power, powder burn, powder shot, and ESS with enchanted, and without enchanted. They ALL count as a standard attack

I don’t see anything saying your damage is reduced by half when an enemy is past 50 m. The perk says reduced damage fall-off by half. It’s the damage fall-off being reduced, not your damage. You guys even have a buff to your “Hit Your Mark” passive. LUL

This isn’t true. It’s also why power shot at a range does not perform as strong as it would seem
I hate muskets but i agree, ags is notorious for not just nerfing a weapon but completely obliterating it to the ground.
Well you’re the one saying drop off is 1%, and they’re saying that is being reduced by 50% so yeah.

Ballistic Advantage switches your RangedAttackName from “Basic” to “Basic_Ranged”. Each having their own properties for damagefalloff, etc.
The only thing that calls for “Basic” and “Basic_Ranged” is your normal left click.
why are you talking about Ballistic advantage? No ones saying if enchanted makes a difference over range? We’re saying that anything that gets shot from your musket counts toward enchanted lol
I say leave musket as is but further than like 60 meters it should lose accuracy
I think they should buff the trapper tree also. Make the abilities way faster like traps and bombs. Give it the BB treatment
