PSA: Per-server player populations are back up

Yep, South America is doing really great.

xD This is hilarious. How come they managed to throw an entire game into the trash can, just like that? Its unbelivable.

“Playable” is not the same as fun and exciting with a thriving market. We need high pop 2000+ servers that get queues in the evenings.

Yeah, it was one of my first MMO “dungeon” experiences: Splitpaw Lair. I was super excited the very first time and died several times to gnoll trains. I had a short cut key to warn others quickly. It was super fun.
Good old times
I miss them

P.S. Bard was one of the most underated classes. But if you knew, how to play, it was super flexible and powerfull. This class was realy fun.

The worst for me was I’d have a server with 400 people online (off hours) and literally every gathering area would be jam packed. I’d even see bots at the couple Orichalcum nodes in First light in the middle of nowhere. Usually 6-10 bots working on Oil and Motes in Fen.

It really goes to show you how much of the population of a server is afk/bots.

Just take the dead servers, and move them somewhere else!

Slapping the letters “PSA” in front of a bold face lie is not only bad form but severely tacky. Average attempt at that suit of white.

I mean it directly affects my game. Company of over 100 people have all left. Third most popular server in West Coast and its lacking players. The server is not dead but its definitely losing its players. Unless people are ok with solo grinding worthless crap all day or continually jumping to a new guild all the time, how could the diminishing player base not affect their game?

We need cross server opr.

At this point they could consolidate whole regions like US west, and US east on one or two servers. Highest pop east server has 646 right now, highest pop west server at 327.

There’s a whopping 15 people in the PTR testing :joy:

I played a wizard and solo’d stuff. I went in some raid zones and quad kited trash mobs. I was very well geared and one of the top Wizards on my server though. Yes, for most they could not solo much.

I loved that game and played it for a very long time. I don’t think I could put that kind of effort in that in my old age now though lol.

500 players across 3 factions at primetime is pretty trash. Its either a very dominated faction server or like 166 people per faction. Minus whatever bots from that too.

The whole system just bad

Every inactive (4 week offline) account should go to a separated server.

I belive they dont merge all servers into one because of the numbers of inactive accounts.

What if 50.000 - 100.000 player come back to check a good patch.

I was also wizard…remember hours of staring inmy spellbook to regain mana…thats pretty hardcore

Wonder why AGS didnt implement that mechanic too with all their other obsolete old systems like timegates…

Oh god I definitely couldn’t handle staring at my spell book again. I remember I had a buddy watch over me at like orc hill and stuff while I did that just because you couldn’t even see yourself getting jumped haha.

Yikes. On Dec 20th my OG server (Moriai) merged into Scheria (US East). After the merge the concurrent peak users (around 9 or 10pm EST) was between ~800-900 players. It’s been just a little over a month and the concurrent players (at this moment) is ~200. I assume this number will go up a bit throughout the evening, but this explains why the server has felt so empty recently, and only one faction now controls the majority of the map.

Wow, Asgard under 700 players… This is sad…

Splitpaw lair. Oh the nostalgia. Also my very first MMO dungeon experience.

I had characters on the server Povar. I was in an international, mainly US guild. I realy had short nights and the raids were long. But it was a real good experience.

There’s nothing to test.
They didn’t add any new content.
