So we all know FSS is tainted with dupes now regardless of what AGS says.
Just wanted to let all of you know that Suthek (AP SouthEast region), which ironically was patient zero and arguably the progenitor server for dupes/exploits in this whole scandal, is the only remaining server whose TP and trading is still disabled.
I know I might sound like I’m trolling but I’ve come around and I’m starting to appreciate the lack of TP/trading.
No more overpriced 500k supposedly “BiS” gear spam on trade chat, people are actually doing content now instead of just mingling in town in front of the TP, world chat and recruitment chat are booming, and pay to win umbral shard carry services spam are gone. No more bots as well since nobody will buy their stuff, and no more pay to win RMT as well.
The server has effectively transformed into a Solo Self Found server and honestly - it’s not bad at all. Granted the game wasn’t designed to not have trading but I think a Solo Self Found server is something AGS should seriously consider when they create the next batch of “Fresh Start” servers.
With TP/trading disabled - the motive to dupe items for gold is much less and any future duping/exploiting can now be contained to individual actors instead of being laundered through the trade/TP system and affecting innocent players.
AGS - if you’re listening - I honestly don’t mind at all if you continue having TP/trading disabled on Suthek. I hated it at first but this has been the most relaxing/enjoyable non-hectic past few days playing NW. Playing on Suthek always felt so hectic because people kept rushing and pushing their Gear Score and Expertise via buying items or trading and now, the atmosphere of the server is much more relaxed, and dare I say, friendlier.
