Lifestaff, firestaff nerfs are all fine and deserved for PVE and PVP
The movement speed on roads is great.
diversity to PVP missions is also great.
Not sure why warhammer got buffs when it was already good. Same with Great axe
IG got over nerfed for sure. They made ice block useless, lowered damage overall quite a bit, and raised ice shower CD by 50% (by itself is a fine nerf, but combined with everything else it’s too much.), and the heavy freeze cooldown. You can already jump out of heavy freeze though so this doesn’t change that much tbh
These are just the changes I experienced initially and I hope most of them go live. Obviously there’s a lot more but haven’t tested/seen it yet.
Also really like void gauntlet, not enough time to see if it’s balanced compared to other weapons yet but its fun either way
Don’t know how you can say anything is “deserved” in a PvE environment when the end game activity is running around and farming mobs in a group.
Now you could counter and say “well you run around in a group so why does this nerf matter” to which I can reply with the same thing since why is it getting nerfed if it doesnt matter? In addition to that choosing to level with these weapons just gets worse, and I am sure with some areas with 30second respawns you can see why doing LESS damage is problematic.
PvP though sure. I am biased against melee but I can sympathize it must suck to not be able to move or just getting killed in an AoE fest.
you say that, but if it is working now, then the nerf is so minor you won’t notice. oh and no one who has actually tested the weapon feels like it is under powered fyi

The change in perks position sucked ass, the change in fireball (so it doesn’t crit anymore) sucks ass, the change in damage of stuff sucked (besides fire pillar).

I guess I’m throwing my IG away and probably gonna use VG for its buffs. Anyway, CC of IG was mehish (IMO), now it is a lot worse with Shower CD increased 1.5 times.
It seems ridiculous to me that fireball is the non-critting ability now while it is in the tree granting more crit chance to abilities. Guess they push us into melee mage build. Pillar is easier to target in close range anyway.
Deadly consistency now stacks 3 times for spear, used to only be on next hit. Not sure if it disappears after 3 stacks as I haven’t fought anything that survives that many xD
I really liked the buff on the musket with a lower reload time, this increases the playability of the weapon by a ton.
The only thing though is that sometimes when dodging it takes too long for the character to reload the weapon. It would be nice if this was fixed as you get stuck for a while not being able to shot, one suggestion would be: after dodging, the character attempts to reload immediatly and if this animation is interrupted again, then it waits till the character aims at something.
