PTR combat feedback

There are some odd interactions on PTR that I can’t seem to reproduce on live servers.

Usually, on live servers, using shield bash, clear out and shockweave hits 100% of the time. This doesn’t work on PTR. As soon as I hit clear out, the enemy stands up before being hit by the shockweave.

The enemy player had no freedom perks on his gear. Combine this with the new rune that removes cc and tanks will be dead for good this update, because the GS will be great with light armor dex builds, but for a tank it doesn’t provide much utility. The hammer will remain the best secondary weapon, but not with this update

Hi, George. Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. Any future feedback you have to share on the PTR can be submitted here: [Megathread] Brimstone Sands PTR Feedback

Can you share a video of this?

There is a bug with the rapier too, when you riposte and do it “late”, you just stop doing damage with normal attacks after the riposte and you need to dodge it to do damage again. This is happening in the PTR and normal server in any case.

Did you trigger the riposte? Do you have a video?

Don’t worry, no one here is accusing anyone of hacking.

I’m actually interested to have it fixed, video proof showing the issue makes the issue easier to submit as a bug

Sadly I don’t have a recording app for a video :frowning:

But you can test it in game, shield bash someone, use clear out then try to shockweave.

I’ll try it, but my understanding is clear out is a knockback & knockdown but shouldn’t guarantee a shockwave based on the number of frames they have to recover Vs the number of frames it takes to wind up a shockwave

I don’t have a video either, I’m not home right now. But the problem happens quite often in any case.

Hello @George90, salutations fellow Aeternum Dwellers, and thank you @Pneuma for moving this thread over,

Thank you for providing feedback relevant to the Public Test Realms. Please note this is best addressed in the PTR section of the forums as we do not provide support or gather feedback on these scenarios through regular contact methods.

Good luck and see you in Aeternum! :wolf:
