Can’t sell runs when they are free, can’t sell gear I get dropped as it is rubbish or is BOP, can’t craft gear as I don’t have enough money to flush away on useless crafted gear, opr is ok but don’t want to spend all my time playing opr, PvP track is also ok but once again I don’t want to only PvP.
Portals will only give you gold twice if you read the notes and dungeons will give you basically no gold.
I don’t want everything handed to me I just want the time I put into the game to give me rewards that are worth my time.
80% reduction in gold from dungeons is not worth my time
Or leave the normal Gold amount for the first 3 Daily dungeons and 5 weekly Mutations. Even the Limit could be removed with diminished returns… Maybe this was too hard to code -_-
This was utterly ridiculous yeah. Gold was basically created out of nothing with this for months. legal Gold Dupe -__-
It’s all bad decisions or half-assed implementation. Devs know players have little gold income and they had to add daily coin bags.
This change feels lazily thoughtout. Like someone calculated the average Gold dungeon players made and spread that value to 100 dungeons lol. I hope they realize they gotta tweak this…

If AGS wants to keep gold inflation down then take away half of all the gold collected in territories. Companies are the reason everything is so expensive not people running expeditions. I don’t care what the metrics say this is what’s actually causing economy harm
Yeah it’s a weird “balance”. You currently get over 1k gold per Laz run. I guess the 1k from gold bags is meant to represent the one orb you can currently buy per day but they forgot to multiply that by 5, since everyone in the group gets gold from the one orb.
Companies fought and Won why would you tax them lol We just have to make enough noise and the gold changes get reverted. Why would you say that others also should have less thats not nice
Yeah it’s a terrible way to balance it. I can understand they want to bring it in line with other systems like opr. But with an 80% reduction you would get less than opr plus opr gives you umbral shards, faction tokens, PvP track xp and salt where you can get gold.
Where is the balance? Opr has no limit when it comes to amount of gold you can earn from it especially when you add the PvP track along with it. No one will do expeditions outside of getting the items they need.
I dont even make money in dungeons really. If I do its small. Food, honing stone, coating, 1500 gold worth of arrows, repair cost, and sometimes incense. Thats over 2k a dungeon. Longer dungeons like tempest when I run with a weak group I might use 2 of all those. Yet people think they should get all this stuff free in arenas and oprs and such.
I still cant believe they really used the word equity with the way wars are setup so that 50-100+ players get to equally push a territory and then all of them equally get to participate in wars…
O wait.
Why is it fair only those who participate in wars get a huge influx of gold that inflates all prices? A lot of companies that hold towns sell the gold to RMT. The largest issue with new worlds economy is the companies
The game is currently all about real life money, item prices are ridiculous and the only way to get them is to buy coins for real money. Black market in the game is very wealthy, and changes like this makes it even more valuable. Come to game, pay 1000 euro get coins from other players, buy shards and become strongest player in game without playing it. Yes it is posssible, this is why people asking to remove expertise, because this is the only thing you cant buy with real life money.

because thats just how it works in that game lol why would someone that does only gather should have an influence on the market/ get gold just cause. And about this RMT thing well i can see that but how do you regulate that? If you take away the money you take a gigachunk out of the whole game and nobody cares about Sieges anymore cause you know people need incentives.
Game economy will never be fixed as long there are almost no ways to remove GOLD from the game. If u keep generate endless GOLD and remove like 2.5g per crafting Gypsum or some other small things.
To fix economy they should USE ‘trading fees’ as option to remove GOLD from game. Take away Trading Fees from companies and make it a game way to remove extra GOLD from game.
@Developer @Kay if they let this go through people will quit noT everyone likes to farm and sell resources certainly can’t do that on a Hight pop server even marmma is impossible to farm on no high GS player will ever run a regulars dungeons ever again not worth their time and no high GS play will ever use the dungeons finder except for casual players because 25 is no enough i just ran 8 laz today in 3 hours not hard it will CAUSE PEOPLE TO ONLY PLAY WITH THEIR ELET TEAM NO ONE WILL EVER AGAIN PLAY WITH RANDOMS BECUASE IF THAY MESS YOUYR RUN TOO BAD YOUR SHARD ARE GONE BASICALLY A WAISTE OF TIME TO CONTINUE ON AT THAT POINT U HARDLY GET ANY SHARDS AND U DON’T EVEN GET ANY GOLD WHAT REALLY PEOPLE WILL JUST OUT RIGHT QUIT IF THEY DON’T OR KNOW THEY WONT GET GOLD HAHA WHAT A BAD GAME DESIGN and about gold all they need to do is keep territory taxes 75% goes to the void after u made territory upkeep amount so the territory owners are sitting on millions and millions trying to make it bigger guild that holds EF and WW for mounths still they to justify selling amour for half gold cap even thoe all that money came from taxes and the light money dupe with housing taxes right now how about we take that out as well
Keep in mind they are also lowering the costs of everything across the board in terms of crafting.
I get why you’re upset though, they’ve done a lot of work to make dungeons cheap and easy to run. I remember paying 2k gold just to run in someone’s Lazarus group because you had to pay to make those orbs.
I don’t deny that they have made it better but now they are removing the orbs which is what I always wanted which is great, I knew they would lower the gold earned a bit but was just surprised it was 80%.
People won’t bother to respec to fill tank healer rolls as you will only really make that gold back plus a little extra.
Expeditions were great because I would have fun and be earning steady gold not a game breaking amount but enough where I could buy most things I needed. That won’t be the case anymore

because AGS think NW is a mobile game and want u to force to a daily login. doing your stuff for 1 hour and logout.

Its taking gold away from the people that enjoy these activities and dont have as much time to commit to the game as the more hardcore playerbase.
If you want to make gold, you can mine/harvest/log 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
There are some players who do, and I guess in developing countries, they may make more per week than if they had a real job.
