It takes minimal effort to make gold in this game.

My other main method was making cooldown mats from resources i gather so costs are minimal when i sell them on the market.
It sucks but apparently thats the right way to play the game as decided by AGS.
Its refining xp buff. Get ur refining skills to 200 and get coin worth of 3 dungeon runs per day
That still requires investment which requires money in the fast place, if everyone were to do this which lots of people do then you are just battling it out with buy orders.
Why cant they just let us earn gold from doing fun activities XD
you wouldnt be making more gold than other people actively going out of their way to make heaps of gold so why would it matter?
Its not like you are making a metric tonne of money running expeditions and you are still capped at how many you do
I sell my daily mats to make some extra money but then I cant try and craft gear so I cant have my chance at getting BIS.
So in order for me to make money I have to sell something I need.

I would not be surprised if their next changes make it so you can only get 6 hours of content a week before you are locked out of your account.

The way you make gold isn’t changing. They are just making Expeditions line up more with the rest of the game, honestly.
They are also buffing the quality of drops and other craftable loot. Gold will be flowing on the server. Just gotta go grab it.
I know and its dumb! It just makes it a worse experience for everything.
My point is that 80% reduction is too much. I even said that im fine with them reducing the amount of gold a bit thats a big chunk.
The only reason I play OPR is because the gold is decent and its the only way I can have fun with PvP but I dont want to always spam that all day.
Not many people doing expeditions at the moment so not worth doing and will be less worth it when the 80% drop in gold comes in.
PvP is inconsistent in rewards but does give a good amount of gold but that requires me to always PvP. I like to PvE as well.
Expeditions are the best FUN way to make some gold not loads of gold just enough that its satifying and feels fair.

Ok, I can get behind tuning the number differently. I am understanding your issue more now. 80% does feel a bit steep.
I will believe they buffed drop rates after we test it. Not one second before.
Theyve baited and switched countless times now and cannot be trusted.
Also they nerfed the pvp track to the point you might get 1 currency reward in hours of play and theyre less than you could make in 20 minutes of an expedition.
Opr takes ages because its all bows not playing objective and nobody else wants to play it and be forced to cap points for their team of stat padding bow guys.
We should be able to choose what we do in a sandbox game to succeed, not be nerfed unless we do all of the dailies they keep trying to implement to prop up player numbers.

I would be happy with a 50-60% reduction. especially when you consider you can only get those 2 coin bags from breaches or chest runs once a day.
I definitely misread the percentage when I was sped reading the notes.
I was operating on a 50% nerf, not 80%, when we were discussing it. I will definitly leave feedback on PTR threads about this as well.
