The change in stamina is unfortunate. The only thing I ask is that you do not make more games because everything you touch makes it worse, you have the midas touch in reverse
This is the reason flagging pvp gives a 30% gathering luck chance and 10% luck chance… so you dont have to wear luck armor.
Witch is why they should not balance the game based on forum feedback, noobs tends to complain more
The only problem I have with the stamina change (bow/rapier main) is the fact that they increase melee homing while nerfing dodges at the same time. Would’ve tested new better melee homing with existing stamina recovery, but I guess they gave into the countless forum complainers.
Anyone who complained about “dodge spam” is usually a LMB spammer who can’t fathom the idea of how to make the enemy burn through their stamina and then use your combos.
Obviously this stamina change will affect all builds and their iframe usage, but it’s kinda tilting that most (if not all) builds have to use their dodges to get out of static animations faster, instead of actually mainly using it to dodge enemy attacks (the bow especially).
We will see how it will go since I don’t believe they will reverse this change, but overall it feels like a change that favors melee classes once again. Light builds supposed to be mobile since it doesn’t take much to kill them once you cought up, but I guess too many people in this game have the “stop moving let me full CC chain you 100 to 0 omg noob stop evading my stuff” mentality. ![]()
tl;dr: Another melee-flavored combat change cuz ppl want their enemies to hold still while they unload all their abilities at once, poggers. Meanwhile, 300 str perma grit perk is still a thing, welcome to melee world
This happens already, some melee animations have built in animations too.

About in combat system :
That doesnt change the issue about in combat system the whole thing is non dynamic dont allow quick change adjust adaptability it just slows the game down in any situation given.
It break tempo.
Giving player less option over a given situation is never a good one. it’s just bad period.
Have you tested it? Im pretty sure you won’t like it when you have tested it enough. It is a massive nerf to melee in all armor weights. It has much less effect on light armor range.
Dude if u manage to lose 1vs1 as a bow player + rapier or a mage vs a bruiser you are just not at the same lvl as he is.
Improve yourself i feel like its quite challenging to lose vs a bruiser as a range ;DDDD !
Idk where you read that I struggle with bruisers, I eat them for breakfast.
I was explaining it overall, not from my personal experience. New bow just buffed me personally, even with new stamina changes. ![]()
Again: Just feels like a melee-favored combat change, but we will see how it feels on live. Personally I only noticed the new stamina limitations vs ranged.
This is not stamina issue. Its combination in very specific builds:
- light armor dodges
- dex bonus for stamina dodge cost
- rapier iframed and mobility
- bow/musket movment bonuses
Only light armor builds using rapier are that mobile. Other light armor builds are ok imho. Maybe a little bit to much mobility.
Then thats a good thing that this is Melle combat favorite if you already eat them for breakfest !

But we agree on that : STAMINA CHANGE they might put in the game is just a pvp experience killer for me.
IT kills litteraly what every one love in this game and why we stay here because the pvp feels great because of it.
My experience is it just takes control away a bit of control from the player and just makes it less fun. Those in favour imo haven’t thoroughly tested it. I haven’t found anyone on PTR that likes this change.
It is a worse change for melee players from what I’ve experienced. It doesn’t matter what armor they are wearing. They will suffer in most game modes more than ranged and those are the players who think this is a good change.
I’d like add that this not only affects Dex builds but s/s Con builds as well.
Between the new 150 Strength perk adding 50% more damage to the attackers hit and ((this increase in time for the regen to kick in tanks are kind of screwed)). This last part of my statement I’ve been told is incorrect that s/s Stamina bar already has a 1sec delay to regen.
As I said I think dodge should have 5-7 sec cooldown, I would rework block stamina waste make blocks more usefull than is it now (blockin is senseless), mobility on builds can be balanced by extra movement speed bonus depends from type of armor you wear. This jumping, rolling nonstop is senseless and game breaking, balance between melees and ranges dissapearin while range dps in light armor can enter middle of fight and survive.This is my opinion.
What a hysterical load of nonsense. GA is ridiculously OP and everyone knows it, even before the bug. You’re just embarrassing yourself by trying to pretend that it doesn’t deserve a massive nerf.
And yes, people are quite rightly complaining about the BB combo that takes people from over 12k health to 0 in less than 1 second. If it wasn’t ok for ice spike to do something similar, why is it ok for BB? There is no counter to the combo once you’ve taken the initial stun. At least ice spike takes some skill to aim.
If you play the two most OP weapons in the game, you have no business calling people who criticize them bad.
No, it shouldn’t. The increased mobility light armour wearers get is the trade off for the increased damage they take. If you can’t hit them, try working on improving your aim and/or equip a ranged weapon as a secondary.
I will not work on my aim no point it is good it just impossible to hit with void blade any moving target …
I asked in the official feedback thread if they could conduct a survey on the PTR to get the feedback of those testing it. As I believe many players like the way it sounds and haven’t tested it. I haven’t personally spoken to anyone on the PTR that supports this change.

Please don’t reverse the changes back, maybe find something in between, otherwise Arenas will be a roll fest. I played on PTR.
People never find changes good when it penalises them and never see the benefit of opponents being affected too.
You say range dps supose to be on range, so why the hell i can use bow and ss build, wich is funy and enjoyable, but risky as heck, ?
