They’ll test everything of course
Yeah …
You are not understanding what is about to happen. Nor what you have read.
I see quite a bit of new content in this patch. YOu choosing to ignore it is your problem. But it does contradict what you assume.
You see content, I see adding more bugs ontop of bugs. I am looking mainly at patch 1.0.6 that should address the current bugs.
Well they already have thousands of test subjects for what is in game right now. Doesn’t do much good to add a server, call it test and repeat what players have already reported.
Wow you are lost. 3 various tiers of lost at that.
That’s my point, we already play on Test Servers and the bugs we report hardly get adressed.
server transfers and merges are something only they can test.
I mainly ment the issues as to why some can transfer and some can’t. If they can’t figure half these current bugs out and we add the bugs from the new content to the current bugs, will it actually help?
We already play on the test servers (essentially) and repost bugs we find.
They are already finalizing that, the PTR is for next patches
That was my main concern if patch 1.0.6 would be tested or just rolled out.
Yes, most of us are 40+ because if you are not 60 by now you probably quit a while ago, hence the improvements to the leveling experience by introducing more variety in low level content.
This is good for the game and player retention.
we are releasing the Public Test Realm as the team continues to hammer down on fixes. If these fixes pass validation, we will have a patch this week. We will have news on a potential update by Today 9:00 PM (your local timezone) but our current focus is the Public Test Realm which serves to support our next big update
Personally I would like to test 1.0.6 prior to release on the live servers.
Wrong.
People quit because there are no mounts.
/s
IF the fixes don’t pass validation, no patch and they’ll test it more on the PTR.
Yea but 1.0.5 passed validation and now you can’t have 250+ STR or it causes stuttering after skills. Their standards of “passing validation” is what I question.
I am all for delaying patches if they aren’t 100% sure but knowing the playerbase, some will have a stroke if there is no patch this week, you know that
Yes, but I would rather put off the patch (1.0.6) until next week after WE ← test it (SInce I don’t trust their validation process) to ensure nothing else gets broken more than it already is. Just my opinion though. We went from not being able to doge roll with 250 STR, to stutter walking after using skills with 250 STR.
Essentially I trust the playerbase to validate more than them, given their current track record.
I agree and I am in no hurry but I am not the one who’ll have to deal with the amount of hate from the most vocal part of the community
Because on the PTS you will probably have to build a new character and start from scratch so you gain the full experience that they are adding.
