So I am Yellow on a server that is predominantly Purple with a side of green. Before server transfers were opened yellow actually had territories. Then if they didn’t switch to purple they transferred off the server. Yellow hasn’t had a single territory a few days since that happened. Now green is even outnumbered 2:1. Yellow is more like 10:1. Then to encourage open world pvp you gave pvp players a buff to rare find. This made it even worse as now the other factions who can group get better drops etc. Trying to run down the road or just farm a few chests is near impossible during peak hours.
To encourage more balance, I would suggest putting que times based on your factions representation. Not 1:1 but something. So that the other factions aren’t just completely demoralized. 90% of yellow has either left for another faction, transferred or stopped playing. Faction ques might help balance the servers if people dont want to hit the ques. Trust me they dont. They want a lot of people on a server but they dont transfer to ones with ques.
Honestly, it’s hard to do, because not all players are max 60 sitting in 600GS sets. If you’re full voidbent, even faction gear, with a decent weapon, you can usually outplay a lot of the players on here. I find it a perk to be on the minority, because I can kill more people.
Dont care how good you are. Its not fun to be outnumbered 10:1. I’m not saying make them 1:1. I dont mind a little challenge but during peak there is no yellow on. Its dead. I dont think that is helping the game. To top it off i dont think the server tops 300 during peak hours total.
Yeah, but if there is only 300 people on the server, you’re saying that literally all of them are 60 except covenant’s ‘elite 10’. It’s not realistic. My server is hitting 1700 players, I farm solo during peak hours flagged, most I encounter is 3-4 people, rare occasions 5. It sounds more like excuses and whining to me.
Sounds like you farm where no one else wants to be. Probably a reason for that other then the numbers. Sounds like you also wouldn’t even know if you were in the minority or not. Does your faction hold territory? Can it even form half an army? Yellow on our server cant form that across all levels.
