Push the Patch without Group finder. Give us group finder in October or November whenever you can fix it

They are doing micro patches very frequently, and adjustments. Which particular part of the latest patch do you feel like is complete and ready to go without any adjustment?

I don’t understand why the group finder is crashing the ptr server. It isn’t a complex system from what I saw on the ptr, maybe they need to change it since it puts you into a lobby chat instead of a group chat. Idk if the game is freaking out over that or what.

Are you saying that, at less than 2 weeks of the release of the patch, that NOTHING is complete?

Nice turntables,

What i am suggesting, is that the final numbers for percentages are not complete. The frequency of drop chance, salvaging numbers, perk revisions, perk pools ect ect.

None of that is finalized, and nor should it be. They gave a time frame to be finished by, so that the numbers can be looked at, tested thoroughly by in house and public test feedback cycle.

There’s so much to test this go round that they are releasing it one week at a time inside the PTR. Just dumping it on live one week after testing is probably not a very good recipe, especially if it’s just to placate people for the sake of having something new every week :x

I doubt anyone has properly tested all the new perks/builds. I’m pretty sure there are going to be quite a few game breaking cheese builds next patch unless some of numbers get adjusted.

All of your points is about new features, or overhaul of an already existing feature. Which I agree with you should be properly tested.

But I think we can agree that other changes doesn’t need a month of testing, let’s talk about some minor changes like reducing the amount of XP needing to complete a refining skill (not that I care about this, it’s just an example of a minor change that could be push in a weekly update instead of pushing it at the same time as huge new features)

All I’m saying is, by experience, packing so much things in a patch is counter productive.

I do agree that simple changes like that should probably be changed on the fly, i suppose it really depends on if they are adjusting it because it’s too high. Or adjusting it because of something they changed, or are adding. :woman_shrugging:

But i get your point.

Yea push the patch while hatchet still bugged AF. New Perks on Weapons INSANE July 2022 PTR - YouTube ( go to 7min into video to see what I’m talking about 20sec stunt / stagger )

Oh gosh. I hope they fix that before it goes live. The game will be dead if stuff like that goes live.

what’s wrong with it? when i tried it nothing went wrong.

It looks like you can permanently stun people. In the video above, the axe thrower was able to lock down a healer until healer died. The healer was unable to move or cast anything.

i was talking about the dungeon finder but that is bust af

Yea you need exhausting throw perk . Someone on PTR feedback told me it was looked into( skip to 7min on video and you’ll see what I’m talking about ) edit / you were talking about group finder and not video sry

Reading this thread is making me depressed. I was so looking forward to this patch.

This is a perfect example of why we should give up reading.

That was REALLY funny. Thanks for the laugh.

This whole game is a vivid example of DON’T RUSH THE DEVS.
Such a beautiful game with so low numbers due to game was launched being not ready.

So, let’s be patient and give them time to make things right.

Pushing tiny bits is what leads to cross builds and more broken shit. This is not the way. There is still a lot wrong on the PTR. Still buggy perks, abilities, balance problems, server crashing stuff, etc. They cant just push out tiny bits. This is what leads to broken buggy live and all the extra time it takes to fix that. Then they forget something in a different build and it rebreaks live again.

Finish this work by the end of this month at the latest. Just keep your word. Players are tired of waiting.
