Excellent points and I’ll add that as a so called Pvx’er, I think it’s very fair to give the bonus to flagged people
actually, as it stands, this game can not be called a pvp game.
It is a mostly PvE game with some PvP elements.
That being wars/opr. But those are instanced and have problems of their own.
The way the meta is, the wars play out like pve scenarios (stand in front of your opponent and spam attack/heals).
OPR has a lot of PvE elements.
When people refer to "PvP’ they are mostly referring to open world unpredictable.

as the game is designed now, the rewards for full flagging is unfair for PvX players.
I am not coming from a biased PoV, if it was up to me, I would have this game be full loot pvp 24/7.
I am just bringing up how much of a bad design the pvp flagging reward is and it doesn’t solve any problems, just make people more angry.
Doubling down on this will not get you anywhere. If i may make a suggestion, why dont you come up with some idea’s to get people to do more pvp, that will not include some sort of resource advantage and will work really well.
Its a very big ask, beause in almost two decades of experience i cannot do it, and creativity flows from me like water flows in a raging river; but it would solve your problem, from your perspective.

Most ‘PVX’ players have not demanded anything. I have no issue with a buff for those who choose to flag for PVP as long as it does not affect my gameplay… which it does not.,

the luck boost will up drop rates and then the supply of legendary mats will be diluted, lowering their value.
This flagging thing is just going to turn current chest run zergs into pvp flagged zergs.
There might be zergs of 2 factions which agree to not hit each other, etc.
This might encourage some fights, but this is a horrible game design choice.

the new patch introduced a luck buff, which effect drops and drop rates.
now think about every patch ags has released and think of how broken this buff might/can be.
not think of where every other lvl 60 is on your server. They are quietly doing something right now.
I’m a PvE player but don’t really see the problem. If I don’t flag I can harves like usual. What am I missing? Anger that PvP players get a luck bonus?
Pvx is everyone . The game has to modes each has their own advantages
What’s unfair is people trying to power politics anytime a mode of game play they don’t engage on gets an improvement .
Stop being petty . PvP flag had no bonuses from launch and now your saying it’s unfair because you overestimating the impact of the benefit.
Once again faction Territories often five a.much higher luck bonus than this PvP mode buff.

TLDR - Literally another post asking for PvP only servers and complaining about PvP incentives. Quite possibly the worst of both worlds in one post.

This is the thing. When. Someone makes a post on a topic and 20 people disagree and 5 disagree.
Those five people making new threads doesn’t show mass outrage it demonstrates forum manipulation to create a false impression of mass outrage when their is none. That’s why all these threads need merged when they pop up .
Mate, this idea has been suggested many many times before. AGS clearly don’t want PvP-only servers. It’s pretty obvious by now. Your idea is nothing new.
In my experience it’s PvP players that fight aggressively against PvP servers, and instead demand broken “fixes” like this luck boost, because on PvP servers they’d have to fight people who can fight back, but what they really want is to squash target dummies and act like they are better than the PvEers that are at least honest about wanting to do just that.
The 30% bonus is basically just AGS saying, “We are currently unable to develop a robust, meaningful PVP experience that would encourage everyone to participate. To “fix” this we will reward the PVPers who created the environment in which nobody wants to play. This will hopefully push (not encourage) people to flag for PVP to get the same reward even though we know they will most likely not enjoy the experience.” AGS knows that PVP is in a bad state and they are simply throwing a band-aid on a sucking chest wound.
I suspect the 30% bonus is nowhere near enough incentive to get those who mainly PVE to flag. Those who do enjoy PVP, but don’t enjoy being ganked all the time might…might flag at certain times of the day when fewer people are on, but I seriously doubt it will get them to do it when there are more people playing. Not until they reach 60 anyway.
Yes this was originally marketed as a PVP game. That is no longer the case. Stop the insanity.
PVP is no more a “risk” than killing certain mobs. Stop with the “high risk, high reward” garbage.
In the end, I agree with what some others have said in this thread. Give it some time, and we will start seeing all the “Why nobody flag” posts again.
As usual…just my opinion.
The 10% luck for drops is fine, maybe a litte high 5% sounds much more “balanced”. (it doesnt matter for watermark anyway)
But the 30% gathering bonus is *********. It REALLY shoudnt be there (well personal opinion: There shoudnt be any gathering luckgear or the need of it at all but thats a complete other story)
