PVE Gathering in OPR needs to Change!

PVE Gathering in OPR needs to Change.
RIght now the resource are too easy and too fast to gather.
PVEers can just easily get thousands of mats in mins and keep the T3 door repaired to stop 10man raid for mins.
This is too boring , none come to play OPR just to play building simulator or DPS the fking door for mins !!!.

Please make the Ore and Wood spawn at differnt location.
eg: Ore only spawn at Moon side, and WOod only spawn at star side. Wolf only spawn at portal side, remove the portal corrupted mob instead.
Make the respwn tower only need wolf hides to build.

In order to make your tower, you have to go to the corrupted side to gather.
And in order to make your doors, you have to go the the other half map to gather.

In this case, the PVEers wont be too easy and too boring to gather mats.
As they will then meet other teams PVEers to compete for mats and have some fight as well.
And pvpers can go ther to ambush them and get theri mats, and stop them from gettimg mats for making doors.

i would put wood in a center location, with same distance from the 2 base fort, otherwise 1 fort get an advantage as door can be built using only wood.

thats what i meant, they can adjust the kind of mats need to build.
so that in order to build doors, you will have to travel to the other side of map, which is risky cuz there might be other teams pvers .
so pver prob will get to fight other pvers for resource.
while pvper fight other pvpers for forts.

Go kill npc, buy powder kegs and destroi fors in 3 sec easy,

Not sure what server you are on but typically the days that you had plenty of time to harvest are over, the roaming horde comes around to too quickly and too often to gather much of anything.

that wont be a good way to solve the issue.
for one keg, u need to spend 10secs to ingite it, and take another 5 secs to bomb.
u need 3 keg for a t3 door, whihc is at least 30secs to non interupted Q
and keg can be Aoe killed in 2 hits
and it does not solve the boring PVE action.
Let the pve be more competetive as well, make pvers fight for mats
like before the brute nerf, ther was constant pve competition in the portal side.
now, none go there, its a dead place.

Now, if we change it.
the pver that could hold the mid place for mats needed to build tower , will bring big advantage to your team.
and if they can go to get mats for T3 doors while the other team cant , then even bigger advantage.
THen pvers will call for help, and pvpers will go escort them,
lots of tactics to play

I 100% disagree with the OP.

What you are suggesting is it a good idea. Currently you can kill them as well while they gather. There’s a lot of players that use builds for duels in opr like bow rapier who got haste and can easily chase and kill pve players. They can buy lots of bread after and leave in storage for their team. If AGS actually made a ranked opr with pre made we can see crazy tactics this way But there’s no cross server play. Gather has potential but not with current system

A lot of you seem to forget about root cause - PvErs. Instead of running around with zerg to max out dps how about chasing and killing gatherers instead? Nah man, ranting on the forum for a nerf takes less effort than killing someone or getting mats for a keg or two. Yikes.

Not to mention how many times I’ve seen people hitting tier 3 doors with lmb on one side when they had tier 1 or no doors on the back of the outpost :smiley:

Stop phrasing human factor fuck ups as mechanical issues of a game mode.
