PVP Areas and Loot

Feeling like their missing a trick to help with a player driven market places and to fill the void for PVP players asking for PVP servers.

PVP AREAS

there should be some areas (High Level only) that when entering you get a warning stating that your entering a PVP zone and that after 15 seconds you will be Automatically Flagged for PVP.

this would give PVP players a place to have the full PVP fun

Now in these areas there should be rare loot and resources that can only be acquired in these areas, this would make a the Risk equal to the reward for being in these PVP Flagged areas. also this will allow for a player driven market as such players who venture into these area can sell the rare goods for players who are PVE players or too low a level to be in that area.

to add to the PVP fun in these PVP Flagged areas, there should be Outposts or encampments that Factions can own, where you can do all you cooking, smithing ect… however these place will be under constant war and can be invaded at anytime by any faction. you should be allowed to use wood and stone to build fences walls and even cannons to help defend the camps.

to make it so there can be a bit of breathing space there should be a NUTERAL zone that has a Shrine to teleport but thats it no crafting just a place where you can rest up or log out.

these simple changes i feel would make the game fun for all and massively add the much needed PVP and Player driven market we are missing.

It would not make the game fun for PvE players who need those resources. Buying from PvP players is not an option as gathering is one of my main motivations for playing. I wager I am not aline there.

Stop trying to force players to flag who don’t want to PvP.

How am I forcing anyone to do anything???

There is plenty there for PVE players this then is a solution to have PvP while making it worth it.

Younhave to remember this game was built around PvP. During alpha there was no such thing as PvE and yes I agree having PvE is great I for one play both PvP and PvE when I want to chill and craft ect. However the game need the PvP element. And what would be the point if the market place if everything is available to everyone with no risk.

You add the element of risk and you reap the rewards.

You telling me there’s no fun in finding a resource in PVP only zones and trying to collect it before your found or grouping up or hiring a groupnof Pope’s to protect you. Would add so much more fun elements to the game.

Of course your never going to please everyone but I honestly feel this is a way forward to cater for everyone.

Think you’ll find indont jump to new things. I see a issue here and offer a solution which would add content and bring in elements for all PVP and PvE.

I’m here to stay with New World inreally like the and concept of it. There is so much that they can do with it. However they can seriously kill the game if they don’t balance it between Pve PvP and look and resources.

Take EvE online one of the oldest MMO games. There player driven economy is uncharted and why is this because there is a massive risk reward. You want good stuff you better want to risk to get it because to get it you’ll have to be in PvP areas.

Look and runescape. To get the gold gear you had to go to the PvP only area and get it.

Today too much is handed on a plate and given to you.

I love PvE and I think adding more PvE content would be amazing but they also need to address the issues of everything I mentioned.

I love your hope but with Amazons track record, I just dont see any of those things coming true for PvE or PvP core.

I agree, but the supposed “majority” of causals will say you’re wrong and that PvP is bad and everyone should have everything in the free loving economy no risk no hardship. Just rewards.

I agree regarding an PVP Area.

Loot etc. isnt necessary in my opinion. (except the normal kill loot)

Such a small area/island with 3 outposts for each faction. WIth a tringular walkway and an minimal outside area.

I like my idea of when a zone enters conflict everyone is flagged above level 50 while in that territory.
territory also gets a buff that increases harvesting yields, Gold drop increase off mobs, Loot luck and Faction token bonus from kills for incentive to stay in the zone.

This way people can do pvp mission in zones to do things other than seiging a town. This also allows player who want to advoid pvp to leave the zone or maybe stay in there to get those bonuses.
we get dynamic pvp zones that way and can kinda do guild wars and pop enemy territories into conflict and try and fight a certain guild around there home base.
