PVP -- Bounty Hunter System

Greetings Adventurers, have you ever been PVP flagged, craving violence, and you get no action outside of fighting over a salamander slime? I believe I have the solution.

System: Every hour a few players from each faction that are flagged up will receive a bounty on their heads they are “marked” for death. Killing that player grants 1k gold. Every player that the “marked” player kills adds 200 gold to their bounty. If the player survives the hour they receive 500 gold plus 100 gold per player killed. The player must kill at least one person to be eligible for the payout.

The map shouldn’t tell players exactly where this player is but should provide hints. The marked player should also be unable to fast travel but may recall to inn if they wish to unflag. If they unflag then the system selects a new person to target. Give the player a 5 minute window before the hunt begins so they can choose to participate or not.

I believe this system could be ripe for abuse by bad faith actors so some restraints would have to be implemented. However, I think a hunt system with real rewards would benefit the pvp base and the economy.
