Pve is its own reward. Why do pvers expect loot all the time
PVE has hard dps checks, defense requirements, and breakpoints which require more gear. this is based on math alone, player ability only takes you so far, which is why games have a gear treadmill.
pvp is scaled and does not require gear. a naked player of high skill can beat anyone.
no amount of player skill will prevent a boss hitting you for 12k if you are undergeared, they are not scaled to your level, their stats are fixed.
i know that pvp caveman brain isnt advanced enough to arrive at this conclusion on its own, so i have explained it here.

What if the player is a healer?
Healer survivability in opr is dumb.
That’s like saying “A party is boring”.
It’s as boring as the people make it.
Some can spend their entire day in OPRs, retaking forts, and it helps learn the best rotation for their character, which makes them more known as good players that can be picked for invasions and wars.

I’m happy with current pvp rewards, with the exception of thinking the boxes should have a much higher chance to reward expertise bumps or better items.
What I really want is more pvp modes to encourage more types of play and different metas. I’d like to see smaller 10v10 or 5v5 matches with different objectives from what we have seen so far in OPR and wars.
