I’m honestly not sure which is my favorite thread at the moment - the one with the gold seller trying to report another gold seller because they sell more gold than him, or this one where someone is flagged for pvp and then complaining because they got attacked by other pvp’ers.
Best part of the game is the forums.
I understand and to be fair, based on this thread, it seems you’re the only one that has the problem. And there is an easy solution, don’t flag. I wish you the best.

to be killed yes, but not to be harassed and bullied, those are not the same thing.
I think I am understanding your perspective. You’re okay getting killed by one person but not 10x by the same person? So if 10 different players kill you on 10 different occasions then you’re okay with that?
I just play the hard game, and yes, it is the hard game by keeping my flag off unless I want to PVP. So elite chests runs? I do it in PVE mode. Harvesting? PVE mode. Grinding mobs and fishing? PVE mode. I run PVP mode when I want to PVP.
So if you do not like getting sniped, then do not flag for in Open World for PVP. Simple as that.
its not about getting attacked… god how are you all this thick-headed, its about being harassed and bullied, or do you all not understand the difference, you can be flagged as pvp and still be harassed and bullied you know…
this has nothing to do with being killed, that’s expected, what’s not expected and not okay is one player soloing out another player that doesnt want to pvp against that other person because they know they are out skilled and geared…
im sorry but one-sided fights are not fun and anyone that thinks they are, is part of the toxic player base in new world and deservers to be banned.

And since you can only be harassed and bullied by flagging, you are literally consenting to be harassed and bullied. Simple logic. Your expectations are more on the realm of entitlement. But like I keep repeating myself: I do understand what they are doing is wrong.
Furthermore, by flagging, you are also putting other people in a position of ‘being bullies’ in which they could get banned, sounds like you are the one harassing them. At least, to do more damage to them. I can’t even see you as the good guy here anymore. Like, how do I know you are not faking being harassed to ban them? This happens a lot here

Bro, read again and more carefully, I didn’t say it is and I posted a counterargument. I am just summarizing what people are saying. 
Also, that video is hilarious. And if it happens to me I would be pissed too. But you can be sure, I would not want to ban people for that…cuz it would make me worse than them.
I guess the way I look at it is like this.
Not being harassed: Flagging up to go get trampled down by a zerg of 20 Great Axe/War Hammer users while naked and chopping down a tree (I flagged, and joke is really on them for attacking a naked tree chopper as it took 20 of them to trample me down) (And yes, did not take much to mow me down either, but the semantics are there).
Being harassed: Not being flagged up and having someone run past me with about 8 mobs chasing after them that just seem to start attacking me instead.
Really its perception though, if you flag, you are accepting the risk for the reward. So if the reward is that bad, do not accept the risk. This game is full of players that all have different perspectives.

that’s not always intentional. sometimes it’s just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
