Pvp flagged camps!

I’m just making a suggestion here…

I love how pvp is now an actual part of the game since the new patch. But what is the point of killing someone to compete with areas or nodes if they spawn literally 2 metres away. Then rinse and repeat till someone gets bored. Either one leaves or in some cases they just decide to ignore each other.

Note: for context I’m covenant

Suggestion: have pvp flagged camps (faction locked) have them destructible by other factions.

if I’m flagged up I can only use my camp or someone else’s camp from the same faction that was also flagged up, furthermore pvp flagged cannot use pve camps as spawn points. Vice versa pve players can’t use it nor destroy it.

Aesthetics wise… idk just put a coloured flag on top or something to show its a flagged (destructible) camp or change the colour whatever works.

Yeah, if PVP flagged your camp can be destroyed.
PVP cannot bind to PVE camps.

sounds like a brilliant idea! then the people wont come back you wont get pvp sounds like an amazing idea

That’s you’re opinion just as I have my own… just doesn’t make sense to me to mindlessly keep killing the same person over and over again for nothing… the loot or rewards for actually killing the player is terrible.

Having this would mean some actual strategy in controlling areas in an open world environment.

But hey if you enjoy pvp just for the sake of pvp good for u brother.

Killing someone to “conquest” an area has no point… Enemy can come again and again if the campfire is close and even if you kill him u get no reward for it…

Easy way to fix it will be adding a debuff count for a respawn cd for camps when pvp flagged.
It will be like: 1st time you die you can respawn in a campfire after 2 min, 2nd time you need to wait 5 min, 3rd time and more u need to wait 10 min.
This time continue as a debuff until you enter on any city (or respawning in it).

I think this would prevend the zerg “lemmings strat” for claiming a territory.

you’re advocating for killing a camp that cant be protected once you leave and can be easily replaced with simple mats you find everywhere

That’s not the point, upon winning a fight you no longer have any incentive other than survival to kill that player since the mastery, gold and tokens are gone. I look to pvp wherever I can, however, with the increase in luck when flagged, areas like scorched mines and myrkguard are highly contested by flagged groups and fights will soon become expensive if you can’t deter them enough. Being able to destroy opposing camps is something that has been spoken about since launch and I can’t agree more that it would greatly improve the experience. People deserve to be punished in pvp, if this were to be implemented people would think twice about their survival and camp placement.

Only problem i see is that people will troll others by destroying every camp they see in the open world, even with no intention of fighting their opponent.

Questing/farming flagged will then be a problem, because you might not have your camp when you get killed by a mob => less people will flag.

Easier solution to that problem: put a longer timer on camp-rez when you got killed by another player (1min, 2nd death = 2 min, etc.).

Yep

If it gets destroyed you get to do what you love and pvp, if you lose tough luck.

If you win those mats that are so simple to get, you can make another one, simple.

Also, give like 5-10 secs of immunity to people after revive on a campfire… So they have a chance to leave the area without being continuously killed or forced to revive on a 2-3 km city.

Campers still being frustrating some times.

I thought of an extended timer also, that could be a quick easy solution for the time. But I understand getting killed by mobs and losing a camp could be a problem but just my opinion if your getting better rewards for doing something while flagged there should be more of a risk involved too… cos pvp/gathering is where my problem started tbh.

I got stuck in a repeated fight for hours before he left, which just wasted my the time I could be farming lol.

But yeah I like the idea ur suggesting man
