Every game that has tried to “force” or “entice” PvE into doing PvP with rewards has resulted in (1) legit players being resentful and (2) lame players who just exploit for the rewards.
I bet you a lot of Outpost Rush AFK’ers are just exploiters, both PvE and PvP. Because it’s no work and easy money.
It’s the same situation in SWTOR’s galactic starfighter. Some idiot in Bioware decided to make 50% of their daily battle pass require PvP. So PvE players just go into galactic starfighter and repeatedly crash their ships to avoid the AFK detection, and collect their battle pass points. E-Z.
And it also frustrates the heck out of PvPers because you lose when they are teamed with you.
So… cry for more benefits PvPers! You’re just hurting the PvP game mode and making it more trash than it already is.
Go for even more luck! PvE won’t even have to go gathering, they can just buy the rock-bottom price goods off the Trading Post.

With all the gold they get showered with from doing outpost rush? They’d way rather have the cheap materials.

This is a hard fact now. Even on my dead server, for example the amount of sliver of adderstone on the market has gone through the roof and now its only 10-20g a piece down from 200g before they brough in this 30% gathering buff.
They need to nerf it down to 10% or remove it altogether.

I’m all for a change, but adderstone was likely bugged before, its drop rate was far from other gathering items
I think all the strong crafting modes have pretty much the same rarity

Idk what server your on, with High taxes in small towns, doesn’t make any sense though bud.
Highest Taxes on Valhalla is Everfall, lowest is Reekwater and Brightwood.
Pluto, and Eden have similar situation.
