PVP healers shouldnt be able to heal themselves

reduce healers self healing in sacred and also fortification problem solved that the only thing making them un-killable also sacred ground abelite animation should be longer like 2-3 second cast time in PVP ONLY ONLY PVP healers should be balanced separate for PVP and PVE theirs no similatries healing in pvp and in pve their 2 different game modes same with off these stupid weapon nerfs and buffs only centered around the FUCKING PVP players and streamers it a fucking joke no wonder the game dies every month

A little late to the game here. I think the original ask was a bit ridiculous. But I do feel like combat as a whole (not just healing) is the problem. The combat is very 1-dimensional. You either do damage or you heal damage, tanking isn’t a thing and the closest you have are bruisers right now. There is no sustain game, a healer can just pump out abilities on CD forever, no one needs to manage mana in the game, which is a problem. The next problem is that so many kits are just doing damage. Look at musket for example, zero utility, its only good for doing damage. Many people complain about it, and if there was a rework that gave weapons more utility and depth it would help a lot. This goes for healers as well.

Yea, there is a 50% absorption cap, which includes fortify, gems, and oak/flesh.

This does not include base armor.

Total mitigation is equal to base armor plus absorption.

When you take damage it tells you how much you mitigated. The red numbers are the damage you actual took. The white damage is the amount you mitigated. You can test it yourself.

Just an example of about 65% damage mitigation with mostly sub-600 GS light armor:

People who claim healing is OP and needs nerfing should try to heal in a competitive war and then see how they feel about it.

That is the problem. All of the nerf comments come from 3v3’s and opr experience.

OPR has had concerns brought up for 1 year now which need addressing before people use it as a gauge of balance adjustment.

I hate when damage is done to me in a game. it ruins the game for me. I should just be allowed to run around and kill others with only my damage, lol. some of these players just literally kill me with their commits on this forum. Its one of the main reasons I play NW & read these forums. such good lol’s

Most people do not play in wars.

Most people play OPR.

A few people play 3v3s.

They can balance the weapons differently in different game modes if that’s the route they want to go.

They cannot balance weapons based on a 50v50 mode because weapons will then be unbalanced in small scale pvp.

Since i still think healers are fine currently but if it really get nerf then it will be fucked up in pve

Since any change to any weps will effect both pve and pvp and honestly i don’t know how you want healer to survive that barely do high dmg and have non cc . Ofc healing itself is the only way to survive and that mostly in every game not only nw

And the amount of countering healing are insane in this game from perks/weps. if you are not using them then you will never defeat a healer

Btw am saying this because that what happened to mages ppl keep complaining about it until it get many nerfs and now it’s nearly unwanted in pve and barely in pvp

LS is fine leave it alone and use correct setup to counter it . Just stop asking for easy kills

Forget to add that many other dps wep can just heal itself to max and have very high fortify without using pots it’s all about creating good build up

Healer have the same role on PvP and pve. The fact you enjoy em when they keep u Alive and they frustrates you when u attempt to kill em or kill some1 being healed by him just proves healer are perfectly balanced and tunned on all stances. Its the nature of a support class you Fortnite players Will never understand, assume It, Learn It and deal with It.

Anti-Healer posts really are something. Riddled with so much bs, or tall telling signs of players who do not understand so much as the basics of PvPing in MMORPGS. Just looking at new world:

  • There is an absurd amount of armor penetration across most weapons in this game that are applied at constant stacking on each other by multiple applications of players on 1 target.

  • There is an absurd amount of damage in general that is unregulated, scaled to pve, left to run rampant in pvp.

  • Freedom was made to ignore developing a proper DR mechanic in the absurd amount of crowd control application that exists.

But this somehow always reachs around and makes it a healers fault. The one thing that prevents matches from devolving into basic TDM. Real tanks would love to be the other deterrent if ags would stop ignoring how redundant the Defender tree actually is.

First healer haters whine about “Self healing”

  • There are so many nodes that grant “heal on crit”, “heal on headshot”, perks that grant life steal/leech, health potions, perks to improve health potions, even an ability that can full cleanse of all debuffs & still heal you with a perk. :thinking:

Second healer haters whine about “Tab target, Auto Target” (this one is funny)

  • SG / DE / LE are the only spells that are aimed in free cast or snap to an ally when enabled.

  • Divine Light & Lights Embrace have the Smallest bloody hitbox in the game with a 1.5 delay cast time. We’ve challenged healer haters to run Free Cast before but its usually met with excuses, deflections, or they just plain ignore the reply.

  • OoP & Beacon are forward projectile skill shots that Require to Aim your curser to hit.

  • The only spell in the entire LS kit that is “Auto” is Splash of Light.

Because we know healer haters don’t play LS or pick it up & make sure to fight ungeared players when they’re talking bullshit.

Third healer haters whine to high heaven that healers “cannot be killed”

  • This was their same argument when NW was still an actual Classless game.
  • Squads of 3 could massacre Paladins with Spear/SnS on lead.
  • Proper application of Rend. All in vein as it got nerfed murdering the Classless concept.
  • Dozens of video highlights of Healer hunting builds that they refuse to run.
  • Healers were even sucker punched with a new terrible mechanic called LINE OF SIGHT & Heal dampening over 1 game mode.

Fast forward.

  • Healers are now forced to run light armor after continued threads voicing devs are literally killing countless hours of Farming, Crafting, Gold, Time spent of gear & devs did it anyway. Funny considering that the split stats would have made ppl (Cough Dps) experience the same thing but devs hesitated. Sus

  • Healers picked up the rapier to survive being forced to run robes.

  • Then the insane crying of the rapier started the second healers adapted & found a way to survive the absurd burst damage meta.

That gets nerfed now healer haters come right back to crying about LS.

Fourth healer haters whine that disease is not enough

  • There is so many spells & perks that apply disease hitting the cap is by far the easiest thing to do in game.

  • Recent update granted Bile Bomb. A heartgem ability to apply disease in a radius allowing to further debuff zerg clumps on point. Course the absurd damage of Detonate is everywhere

  • The Great Sword has 5 different debuffs across 6 abilities / nodes including disease.

  • Application of disease should instinctively tell the player “I have (X) amount of time to execute assassination or coordinated attack”. Instead Left click Left click Left click Left click Left click


But its all in vein.

No matter how many ways successful healer hunters, healers, anyone for that matter points out that healers can be beaten by using builds, techniques, usage of mechanics & coordination, it’s just another repeat regurgitation of the same gibberish by the very same people year round. When one thread fails, they go out n make another one in hopes that they can cover up how many times they’ve been squashed on these threads want the Devs to only see their discontent againts a weapon with virtually nothing meaningful in its kit other than being a hospital.

Being a support is a thankless job after all. Especially thankless from dps who expect to be healed & protected no matter how bloody bad their positioning is but will never do the same in return. But if we don’t contest these threads, devs will end up bending the knee further damning PvP.

Since they have absolutely 0 chance of killing you it seems MORE than fair. Sounds like you just need to “git gud”.

I find one universal feature request echoed in all twitch streams, group fights and so on. “Can AGS please not show the enemy heal circle as the same green as ours”…

When you guys say you play the game, I openly question that as if you played the game for more than 5mins a group fight and see circles on the ground that are green - but - aren’t yours you’d be equally as frustrated and put a patch through of some kind.

I’m even personally open to the notion that you can turn off “enemy effects” like they do in Lost Ark as a “good enough, if it compiles ship it” feature change.
