Love this games PvP, it is honestly the best I have ever experienced.
The problem my friends and I are experiencing is that it is SOOO hard to find. The small skirmishes we used to find every once in a while were amazing! 3 v 3, 5 v 5 etc. But now I can’t even convince my friends to login and PvP because they know we will run around and maybe find 1 skirmish. So I don’t even blame them for not logging in.
I think a good solution would be a PvP Arena, or some smaller scale PvP battleground, something replay-able, on demand. Preferable with rankings so players can improve together.
Another great thing this game has is semi PvP gear via faction tokens. It is awesome that this exists, but the current meta for farming this is to just run back and forth killing sheep…? I think you should be able to farm these tokens also in a battleground. Let people PvP to get the PvP gear.
ive been saying this exact thing. they are slowly pushing the pvpers away. i dont think any pvpers will be playing this game in 6 months if they dont add some sort of instanced pvp. Its way to rare to find pvp in this game.
They probably have plans to do something like arenas, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. There’s outpost rush, which is disable. There’s the level 55+ portals, broken. They gotta fix the content they already “released” before making new broken systems. I’d guess in a year or 2 the game will be somewhat playable. I’m joining your friends in not logging in anymore as there’s NOTHING to do.
PVP? i might be able to get into 1 war a day, which is so laggy that it’s unplayable. Crafting? no one’s buying anything off of the AH on my server, since it’s dying, yet it doesn’t have new character creation enable for some reason?
Incompetence all over the place.
I just REALLY hope they don’t think outpost rush will fill the niche of small scale, competitive PvP that people are requesting.
I am also worried that the want to have a PvP arena will fly under the radar. Everyone I talk to just says “They will add it”, and don’t seem worried. But I wonder if not mentioning this on the forums and just assuming it is in the pipeline will give the imagine that not a lot of people want it.
