Skill in pvp? Am i missing something? - its meta builds with good gear. There is no real skill involved in pvp in this game because most of the time its always the same : push your 3 buttons, evade, change weapon and push the buttons again. New World pvp : get how iframing works, slay casual players who are clueless and feel like a good pvp player ( lol XD ). Its an unbalanced ishtfest

Sad but true.
Once you learn how to time dodges (and get it to muscle memory) pvp is fairly easy.

ok. Time for different game.
OPR right now is just muskets sitting on a hill and you cant even get a good fight due to the range suppression. 3v3 is okay but its the same people over and over and fire staff is so strong atm and im not playing it so eh not that fun.
3v3 arena would be so much better if it was equalized gearing. Like infinitely better

Just do want most of the MMO PvP fans do. Go play a game that has competitive, and skill based PvP. Iāll give you a suggestion.
Soo many MMO fans interested in decent PvP. That there are queues to get in to maps in all the WvW Matchups. There are 5 total WvW matchup and we are not even top tier matchup. Just saying, if you want something. You are going to have go to the place thatās willing to give you want you want. As many MMO fans have.
It really is getting boring, easy to do well in this game when you get healed
I mean skill based in knowing the mechanics and entrenching them into muscle memory based on the situation.
The reason its the same ppl over and over is because they are the only 3 people that enjoy it. Due to the gear gap. They are feeding on minnows. Youre either eating, or being eaten. Its not fun to always be eaten.
OPR still much more fun than PVE grinding same dungeon as āmutationā for me

Yea thats why 90% of bruisers is bad at game and that 10% could probably solo vs 3 randoms from that 90% group.
You ppl learned to play heavy with pocket healers so yea, you dont know game mechanics and game for you is just smashign 3 buttons. But for all medium/light armor users that used to play solo - its skill based game.
I am quite happy with new world, they just need to remove gear from arena because new world should have a PVP mode like most other games which has nothing to do with gear. Arena is the most competitive mode so removing Gear score would help in removing gatekeeping from new players wanting to play.
Donāt get me wrong, GW2 PvP was great for a whileā¦ but 10 years of literally the exact same thing, with months between balances, and an abandoned ranked sPvP scene has left that game in shambles.
Theyāve been saying a WvW overall was going to come forā¦ 2 years now?
At least New World hasnāt made it to their first year yet. Thereās still āhopeā.
Iād just be happy with an actual reward for doing arenas.

PVP will be trash until the healing is addressed. A guy shouldnt be able to just get wailed on in a heal circle and not worry at all. But thats what happens all game.

Im sure they will implement a MMR system at some point for arena/ranking system, which will involve better rewards etc.
They havent implemented swimming yet so it might be some time.
That would sucks imo what is a point of perks in armor then ? It is in Lost Ark and it really sucks balance is broken cuz everyone can have same stats which works better on some classes and worse on others. And you cant fill this empty hole by your eq, so it leads to situations when your character just sucks.
They shouldn t do that with all the ammount of bugs and imbalanced perks at this time
