Do we not gain PVP experience through gathering/harvesting when max level? Looks like we don’t even though the tooltip says we do.
??? maybe I don’t understand the question but gathering/harvesting is not pvp, you have to do pvp for salt
It says “earning XP while flagged” in the tooltip. Not that I’m trying to ONLY farm, but it would help cut down the grind a bit if while I’m on my gathering route I flag up to gain PVP exp as well.
probably they miss the “pvp xp”, never read about gathering. You must do pvp missions, opr, forts, pvp against other players and arena, this is the only way to obtain salt.
Yes, but when the box says “earning xp while flagged” that would imply you could earn that xp unflagged, but you wouldn’t gain PVP XP. The only experience you could gain while both flagged and unflagged is gathering/mining, killing random mobs, and potentially faction missions I guess but they always show 0xp.
probably they talk about “xp” but they mean pvp, btw you can do easy pvp missions flagged. I guess the only thing you can do is suggest them to write “pvp xp” and not “xp”
Thanks for calling this out. “Earning XP while flagged” in the tooltip actually refers to the Azoth Salt reward the player receives for every 10k character XP they earn while flagged. The player will qualify for this even if they are level 60 and XP earned while gathering, as long as it isn’t while in Sanctuary, will count. That said, getting a Salt boost doesn’t technically increase your progress on the track so we will consider re-wording this.
Speaking of, any chance you guys could share the amount (preferably in the patch notes so everyone knows) gained? Is it static, dynamic?
Side note, definitely cool concept getting passive salt for playing flagged.
Not at this time, but I’ll definitely share that there’s interest. 
Should I take that as it being based on the low/high/extra high timer? 
I’m not 60 yet and I get bullied when I flag so hard to gather data
