Right now in PvE, elemental damage types actually do matter depending on what NPC enemies you are fighting and their weaknesses. However, in PvP, elemental damage is treated all the same…just a “pile” of damage.
Why not make elemental damage actually unique and allow the user to plan/customize around it. For example, why not change it such that…
Fire = burning DOT applied
Ice = ice damage/freeze DOT applied
Nature = root applied
Lightning = stun applied
Void = slow applied
This would make builds more unique.
