PvP Movement, Quality of Life, Servers, Balance, Future

keeping most of this short because everyone here should be intelligent to figure out the whys

PvP movement - the movement feels clunky and doesn’t feel like I have full control over my character. pressing ‘a’ then pressing ‘d’, what is that slide… moving forward and turning moderately left and right with the mouse, again with the sliding… why… who thought of that and thought “yes, we need to make targets easier to hit”, get rid of that and make it more intuitive and responsive like a normal pvp mmo (age of conan patch 1.04). no one is gonna miss while using hit scan, and already there aren’t many bow users because it takes skill, it’s not like improving movement will reduce the number of bow users or deter anyone else from using a bow. movement is imperative to the overall skillfulness and enjoyability of the PvP experience. please look into this closely.

Quality of Life - don’t think about these, just make it happen.

  1. all roads give 5% - 15% bonus movement, pick something.
  2. auto pathing, why am I getting stuck in a single bark tree.
  3. clear indications from buffs and passive icons, for example - ill-gotten gain earing regenerating passive is never visible. passives on top of the health bar need clearer distinctions from buffs and sources.
  4. while viewing storage from the map, would like to see the current weight and weight limit.
  5. would like a feature to add separate chat tabs and the capability to edit what goes to any separated chat tabs.

Servers - 3000 MINIMUM. don’t overthink this. just do it and see what happens. of course, lock the server from new creations or transfers. Valhalla would be the perfect test server for this test as there’s a 1k queue from 300 since transfers.

Balance - heals and heavy armor. not necessarily in combination

Future - I’m excited to see what sort of new weapons are in development, data-minded or otherwise. personally, I would like to see a melee heal weapon, preferably 2-handed, where melee attacks would heal yourself and the group, along with a bit of quick casting spells possibly and a great cc ability.

No. There is already issues with full servers camping all the good farming spots. Add another 1k, might as well give up on gathering and crafting.

Your quality of life stuff sounds good, I would add to number 3 to improve the stat display when you go to your inventory tab. Should have all the stats there, crit chance, luck, etc, need it, now.

One thing though, with the expansion map, brimstone sands, 2000 player cap won’t do it. We won’t encounter any other players anymore, or significantly less frequent, aside from towns. Seeing other adventurers is an important aspect in an mmo imo lol.

People will keep moving to the new content… mind boggling

Or won’t spend 50$~ on expansion.

We don’t know how the dlc will work or what the cost will be.

3000 servers? No, we are already lagging on 2000, auto pathing? What do you mean? Auto run to point A and B? Auto quest? Like a mobile game? And road speed should be not allowed for PvP or people will just run away

And expansion?? Its just been a month and half… other QoL are good
