what if instead of uninstalling they leave game installed but stop logging in?
why do you think it’s a reasonable expectation for players to continue to playing a game if they are dissatisfied w the product and choose to inform developers the reasons leading to them uninstalling the game and cease consuming the product?
fact of the matter is the only ppl who are going to continue to have stakeholder status in the current game state are gatherers and chest runners who are simply satisfied to exist in the world state and players who enjoy rigourous nonsensical RNG prog loops.
so basically osrs/terra players. why should anyone cede feedback of the games future development to a niche MMO audience when the game explicitly pivoted away from original designs to not be a niche video game?
your entire premise of stakeholding is flawed.
should we ignore feedback if players also don’t have the ptr installed on topics the ptr isn’t testing?
also if you’re goal is to curtail negativity as you say why give it oxygen in the first place?
it’s been expressed positively, neutrally and negatively. through a variety of threads and posts by numerous individuals.
don’t know what world you exist in but no Customer service feedback loop is wo some level of negative response. adults learn and know how to navigate it and get distill the information to the core pain points.
only children are incapable of handling the work environment.
you’ll forgive me if I expected functioning adults and not children handling the feedback to developer pipeline.
AGS has shit all over the pvp community from day 1. Marketing this game as a pvp centric game only to destroy pvp bit by bit over time and then pumping out shallow pve content and never any pvp content.
People should not play a game they are unhappy with. Agreed.
Continuing to post negatively about it leads to people thinking you are out to destroy it.
That is only a problem for you.
The game is nothing like it was when i first played it. Nothing. Games change. Either you change with it, quit it or rage constantly about it in the forums. Reasonable people do two of those.
You negate your entire reasonable argument with this last sentence.
for you perhaps, fortunately for everyone you aren’t arbiter of feedback validity.
whether the feedback hits the pipeline the statement exists and any audit of the feedback loop by managerial reviewers will note passthrough or dropped info gathering.
pms can then decide if what is lost is insignificant or not to their information pipeline or not.
that’s how info flow gathering works, I expect Amazon being a large multi billion entity to know how to create effective pipelines of data and feedback gathering.
the algos will create the appropriate word matrix on a sufficiently big data set.
not your job to tone police anyone, if you want it to be apply to be a cm.
You really think that calling people names will make them listen to you? Do you really think like that? Do you think reasonable people agree with your tactics?
no its not ad hominem. I’m calling AGS as a company incompetent. Im sure there are many talented people that work there. But they still have to do the tasks they are assigned.
