Same problem here, please AGS consider cross-server OPR. As an immediate action perhaps consider lowering down the people required to 24.

This. I could probably live with the balance issues if at least more than half my skills actually hit the target. I would still rage at people playing light armor + rapier + any other weapon though.
OPR is so often unbalanced and players go in with no strategy. I have all but stopped doing OPR. It’s not fun and the brute increased cost is not enough to make that mode fun. If it was fun people would be doing it more often and queues would be shorter. I have yet to get a reward from OPR that I would actually use. Same with dungeons. My gear is crafted / bought of the TP. That is where my upgrades come from, so that is where I will invest my time.
Cross-server PVP should be a top priority, it would dramatically improve access to OPR especially during off hours or for low pop servers, and improve queue times of course…
Later they should also be looking into another pvp instance or two to pair with OPR (for variety), as well as an arena mode.

Yes, what is going on with the 13v19 matches? I assume they are calculating the team your in before you press Accept the OPR match and get teleported to the OPR game. Some people probably don’t accept because it took 90 minutes for this match to begin so they are slightly afk. That’s how you get 13v19 matches. What they need to do is set a player to a team as they click accept and do it in a circular queue (Like Blue gets first Accept. Red gets the next accept. Blue gets the third accepted player. Red gets the fourth accepted players) such that Blue is every odd number in the queue and red is ever even number in the queue (or vice versa). This would be the simplest algorithm to solve their problem without just created a more advanced queuing UI imo.
The real answer though is to turn OPR into a guild vs guild thing and release 2v2, 3v3, 5v5s. Arenas would be so spectacular that OPR will be dead since no one will queue u, then they will need to make OPR a guild vs guild mode (or maybe cross-server mode instead).
On my server, people actively ask for more people to join the queue and count OPR as /32 not /40. I usually accept queues right at the 32 mark and notice that it’s unbalanced at start with 32 players. One would hope we’d get an actual Dev response to this, but you’re probably right on how they handle the queue system.
If we eventually get a GvG system (maybe even add a capture the flag here too) with arenas, that would be great.
Right now waiting 30-45 min to check if it’s even possible to get another OR match. It’s only 11:03PM server time. Unacceptable to wait this long to play a game.
