@Luxendra
Why PvP perks crafting mods a BoP? I do not wanna lvl up crating skills to craft items for myself with PvP perks…it is a terrible design…Only source of them is PvP track’s, right? Why not make them tradeble???
no idea. It’s a poor system that was abused in the beginning of it’s creation, and now everyone else needs to rely on the winds of RNG in getting a drop in the loot at every checkpoint. Will always favor tradable, rare mods rather than sitting in a cupboard gaining dust.
the crafted items, can be traded…
but i get thoose mods way to rare ( currently track 48 )
They aren’t any special, and having BoP craftmods in general doesn’t make any sense.
I’m not a crafter and I’m not going to become one.
Why not make them more rare but make them BoE ![]()
They are rare even with 200 PvP tracks… I take almost every chest, and have most mods ~10-15 ea only
How tf was it abused? Yea they leveled their tracks quickly but its not like they could manipulate the rng to always get craft mods
tf u on about cuh
Agreed, so annoying.
I just wanna roll mortal empowerment rings…but it’s been around 15-20 tracks, since I’ve evem gotten the carthogo tonic thing.
The only one that’s really worth rolling from the track atm ![]()
I was talking about the days when PvP missions in Eastburn where it granted an intense amount of XP for little effort. Don’t be defensive, most of us, including I, did it, and I can say without a doubt, we abused that pretty heavily. I didn’t go too hard into it, though, to which I wish I did. Still, it’s the proper wording for it, even if I’m not putting it under negative light.
The Main NEGATIVE on this however, is the fact these craft mods are BoP. They don’t make sense, more often than not the mods you find will be of little use unless you’re a 100% player, one who wants to use everything at their disposal, which is an extreme few.
Even if you use that way, how many tracks did u get and how many mods?
I do not use that, but i have 198 pvp track, took almost all chests, and still numbers of mods is ultra low (10-15 of 1 type)
can definitely say I didn’t go too much into it and yeah, the number of mods was very little. It’s to the point I’m wondering why even HAVE the azoth salt? Why not just let us spend it to get the mods we want? I mean, it’s still doesn’t solve the main issue of it all being BoP, thus you need to be a crafter to use it, but at least then you have something to dump your azoth salt into.
1 time i waste all solt and do not have enought to buy some leg drops…)))
I didnt do it ![]()
but anyway i dont think its a problem that people could abuse it to level up quickly, it was just annoying seeing people brag about 200 “pvp” reward track level when all they did was spam pve missions while flagged.
I also dont think them being bop is that bad, crafting is more accessible than ever, especially jewelcrafting. I leveled my jewelcrafting from to 0-200 in a day by making gemstone dust with gems i bought from the trading post. I spent around 40k total and made all the money back by selling the gemstone dust. The clothing is cheap af and trophies you could borrow from a friend
it’s not that. It’s the fact the crafting mods are not only exceptionally rare, it’s also the fact they’re BoP. So even if I wanted to trade with someone to craft it for me, I can’t do that. And even if I wanted to be a crafter, I can’t access the mods until I get lucky with a RNG drop. Wouldn’t be so bad if there was a azoth salt sink to where I can just grab the mods I want that are 10,000 salt a piece, but it’s not the case.
It is very silly. Crafting Legendary Shields is doubly fucked because you cannot trade Runestone Stopwatches (the only means to guarantee lego on 600) nor can you trade Brown Tonics for Sturdy Fortification. So, unless have a really nice crafter friend who is keeping up on their stopwatches, does PvP enough, and has everything for Weaponsmithing, you are going to pay a lot out of pocket to get something going. Really am not understanding the hard-on for BoP per PvP rewards and non-named items.
Well a lot of the mods are quite good so i think its obvious why theyre rare…
and that’s totally fine, there’s rare mods that are also tradable, and they make it known with their price tag. Doesn’t change the fact that these things are sadly BoP, and that doesn’t help anyone. BoP has been proven to be a pretty terrible system, because it only helps those at the top, never the every-day folk, as powerful companies can actually have the money to spend hundreds of thousands of gold, well, more like millions, to boost their players crafting skills to 200 to allow them to get the perks they want through the pvp track. Of course, that’s where the benefit ends, because even if you were a master crafter, now you’re locked to the whims of RNG, which to me, isn’t a good system for game changing perks.
They should be more available to everyone, but still rare, and there’s ways you can pull that off with the PvP track, such as a guaranteed Potion/Perk track that gives players an option of 3 perk packs or make it available in a azoth salt store that costs steeply, which means the player still needs to engage the PvP track, but now the azoth salt actually matters.
