No, this isn’t another thread to push PVE player to quit because “i’m an elitist PVP”, this is mainly for 3 reasons:
1- PVE player is running with my PVP party to spot us. I should be allowed to kill him.
2- same-faction PVE player is spotting us for the enemy faction BeCaUse It’S an RPg sO It’s RolEpLay. I should be allowed to kill him gaining infamy points, i don’t care.
3- same-faction or enemy-faction PVE player is pulling commanders and other bosses in our elite chest run to wipe us. I should be allowed to kill him.
BUT if AWS got any other way to prevent this it’s even better, because right now we need new players, not angry quitters.
Seriously you want PvP, then buckle up cupcake. You need to use their spotter against them, which is a easy task, in war, love and open world PvP anything goes. There are maybe things like spawn camping which should not be possible, but even that can be used smartly to gain a advantage by coating the enemy in a safe feeling and then wipe them when they don’t expect it the most.
Or well you could play PvP like a brainless NPC, all bind to the same camp, run in zergs and have no actual plan or organization and then log off salty due to loosing.
Okay, let me ask you this. You’ve got 3 to 5 spotters screaming they are North, West, East, South, City, Portal, Entrence, Boss etc. at the same time, what would you do ? Would you expect this? And could you follow a zerg that scatters in all directions ?
Or what if the spotter gets distracted by people laying down all of a sudden and small groups split off while he’s laughing or checking while running into the group.
How about actual using the enviroment to take away small portions and regroup, spotters often only follow a zerk they don’t know how many are in them if they are big enough.
And there are plenty of other examples on what to do.
Our server is underpopulated and our faction is doing pvp quests with 35 players while the other faction is waiting for spotter’s instruction with 60 players in the city so “scatter” means nothing.
But again, explain to me why an unflagged player is free to run in a flagged group with no consequences without giving me your outside POV on how we should avoid this.
Our server has under 500 people active playing, we are constantly up 30 vs 60 and still win a good % of fights and own most of the land + everfall. They also have spotters, and we also used them.
If you don’t understand scatter tactics, or are not even willing to learn about them, it’s your loss. Beeing “salty” about the rules isn’t helping you. Especially with such a badly thought out suggestion. Cuz PvE player will have way better reasons then you to keep the system as it is.
You talk about zerging, wiping and stuff but we are 35 and the other faction has 60 players waiting so we can’t do anything “sneaky” with an enemy spotter with us.
Anyway you fail to provide any reason why a PVE player should be allowed to run with a PVP group if his intent isn’t doing PVP.
And let me get straight, if i want PvP the i must buckle up, but if i meet a PVE player he is allowed to disrupt a PVP group activity with no problems.
If you don’t see the point of PvE player not wanting to be force flagged, you also lack any capability to make tactical decisions. You deserve to be farmed by the enemy, in the way you are right now.
im just telling you on our experience with the faction player amount in the server we’re really undernumber plus there is alliance green and purple so we cant really manage to do tactis when we’re fighting 10 at 60 with spy in our raid.
But you seem to be some strategic genius so you should maybe migrate and show us.
These books and tactics, are in current age terms “War tactics 101” for the first semester. You don’t need to be a genius to get that.
Also if you’re only with 10, you don’t fight. Go into the city ask for help, the other factions also are a good partner to fight against the common enemy.
The 36th strategy “走为上” - Run away to fight another day.
If it becomes obvious that your current course of action will lead to defeat then retreat and regroup. When your side is losing there are only three choices remaining: surrender, compromise, or escape. Surrender is complete defeat, compromise is half defeat, but escape is not defeat. As long as you are not defeated, you still have a chance.
dude you are so inside your own world, i would like to see you run in a war saying “DON’T HIT ME I’M PVE” just to get impaled by someone saying “this isn’t New World”
I can just repeat myself, the way you reply and your lack of awareness and reading people is the reason you lose that much. Also you 100% should not make suggestion on that scope on the forum, since you lack any common sense.
Even though this is a made-up problem that sounds a lot like “a you issue”, there would be only one solution - make pure PvP dedicated servers where you can’t turn PvP flag off.
I’m sorry but this sounds made up and hella paranoid. I’ve never seen any of this ever, never saw anyone complaining about any of this ever, and it sounds like you just sat at your desk smoking cat piss and thought pve players were out to get you and break the game.
Spouting all this Art of War and starts complaining about pve people causing ambushes…
There’s ways to counter ambushes in this game you don’t just run head on into zergs. If you were my company leader I’d leave it after reading this crap.
“don’t run into zergs” said the wise man to 30 players doing PVP quests in fixed locations with a spotter with them and the enemy faction waiting where they are supposed to kill mobs / gather resources / kill people without dieing.
