Raider’s Hat, Laz Bow, Smooth Bone Ring, Dooms Chance, Will of the Ancients, Sagacious, Wizened Boots… do I really need to continue? Many of these items are infinitely easier to get then trying to craft something of equivalent value or better. Sure not every weapon slot and everyone armor slot has BiS dungeon drops, but enough of them do that you can’t with a straight face say crafting is easier than getting drops from dungeons. With the Raider’s Hat for example, I’ll never have a need to get another bruisers hat which completely invalidates any strength medium armor piece a crafter can make. The only reason I agree with you about adding items to the PvP track is because they already messed up the game by giving OP dungeon drops and they have to make it fair. Everyone’s bank is full with decent two perk gear that we constantly complain about having storage management solutions because it’s become a problem.
My point was that the game would have been better if they didn’t have all of these drops, but it’s too late now until they increase level/gear score cap.
That just tells me they need to make it easier to roll gear.
In a game where 500k is gold cap, they should be balancing all their rates/drops around that price point
I seriously don’t care for the crafting system. I’ve spent lots on crafting myself and think the system needs improvement. Needing to spend triple the gold cap and months crafting one bis piece is so stupid

I do dungeons, mutations, wars, opr, duels, farming, market flipping, invasions, and crafting
Acting like crafters are a unique or special role in the game is silly. Most players craft. And most players can agree it’s a stupid system
Only ‘crafters’ who think otherwise are people who choose to sit there and craft all the time because they KNOW they can quadruple their value with how high items sell
Toning it down would be healthy for the game and make it easier for new players to be on an even playing field
So here I am, a pvp player who doesnt have piles of gold for craft or the time to grind dungeons. Then AT LAST Amazon added some decent rewards for pvpers in this somewhat dying game and some goofballs still have the audacity to call it a bad idea xD hilarious
AGS is getting rid of crafting. Look at the dungeon drops and the soon to come PvP drops.
Crafting does not fit into this game any more. Everyone just wants free shit from dungeons and the arena and AGS is listening.
This game went from “BIS comes from crafting” to our current state of only 2-3 items are worth crafting because BIS now comes from everywhere else for free.
Crafting is just not a good system. The reason we’re in the mess we’re in now is because of all the people complaining not to make crafting “useless”.
I remember pre-launch there were numerous threads saying crafting was going to be worthless because items were repairable, what a joke that ended up being. Imagine if AGS listened to these players and let the gear actually decay fully rather than being repairable, and we were left with this current system?
Anything, literally anything, to shorten this insane grind. These rewards are the only reason I haven’t uninstalled. If it is as hard to get these as it is to get other items then I will be done.
Keep the PVP rewards. Fix crafting so it isnt RNG bullshit beast ward logging luck. That stuff all needs to go. Gives us control of stat and two perks. 3rd perk random but not luck or bullshit. Problem solved.
The current system is way too ass to not be able to get 3-4 BIS out of 10 items from non-crafting routes. I’ve done/seen/crafted for way too many people who blow 100-200k+ on mats in a matter of minutes to end up with nothing equipable and very little sellable.
Thing is you can easily spend $1M on mats and still not get 1 person actually BISed out on 5 gear/3 jewelry/2 weaps, especially if they don’t have a drop for that item.
Never mind if they want to switch builds, if their current setup gets nerfed, or if new perks get introduced to make older ones obsolete.
It's clear you are a person who has invested a large amount of time leveling your crafts. I think you should still be profitable, if not then that's a problem.
Most people don't have the time to invest in this game as you did. They need a way to acquire competitive gear.

What rewards? I completed 19 tracks, which is A LOT of playtime in OPR and arena.
All I got is a ring, which is marginally better than featherweight ring. Some armor pieces which are useless to me and 3 weapons which are worse than dungeon drops.

i dunno i like gambling but at some point i will just be over the game.
every day or every other day my entire cool downs go into crafting 3 gloves.
still nothing good. not even a 2 perker im looking for. and im rolling with a sundering shockwave mod. im using a hand me down shirk fort + shockwave glove still.
