quite frankly non of these items are bis in their own rights.
they could be consider near bisses or back fill bis at best.
not every build needs every weapon perks. having these lets you get some relevent passive perks while having to roll less true bisses.
its better this way.
no one is going into anything without key weapon perks. they are too important.
So here I am, a pvp player who doesnt have piles of gold for craft or the time to grind dungeons. Then AT LAST Amazon added some decent rewards for pvpers in this somewhat dying game and some goofballs still have the audacity to call it a bad idea xD hilarious
AGS is getting rid of crafting. Look at the dungeon drops and the soon to come PvP drops.
Crafting does not fit into this game any more. Everyone just wants free shit from dungeons and the arena and AGS is listening.
This game went from “BIS comes from crafting” to our current state of only 2-3 items are worth crafting because BIS now comes from everywhere else for free.
Crafting is just not a good system. The reason we’re in the mess we’re in now is because of all the people complaining not to make crafting “useless”.
I remember pre-launch there were numerous threads saying crafting was going to be worthless because items were repairable, what a joke that ended up being. Imagine if AGS listened to these players and let the gear actually decay fully rather than being repairable, and we were left with this current system?

Anything, literally anything, to shorten this insane grind. These rewards are the only reason I haven’t uninstalled. If it is as hard to get these as it is to get other items then I will be done.

Keep the PVP rewards. Fix crafting so it isnt RNG bullshit beast ward logging luck. That stuff all needs to go. Gives us control of stat and two perks. 3rd perk random but not luck or bullshit. Problem solved.

The current system is way too ass to not be able to get 3-4 BIS out of 10 items from non-crafting routes. I’ve done/seen/crafted for way too many people who blow 100-200k+ on mats in a matter of minutes to end up with nothing equipable and very little sellable.
Thing is you can easily spend $1M on mats and still not get 1 person actually BISed out on 5 gear/3 jewelry/2 weaps, especially if they don’t have a drop for that item.
Never mind if they want to switch builds, if their current setup gets nerfed, or if new perks get introduced to make older ones obsolete.

It's clear you are a person who has invested a large amount of time leveling your crafts. I think you should still be profitable, if not then that's a problem.
Most people don't have the time to invest in this game as you did. They need a way to acquire competitive gear.

What rewards? I completed 19 tracks, which is A LOT of playtime in OPR and arena.
All I got is a ring, which is marginally better than featherweight ring. Some armor pieces which are useless to me and 3 weapons which are worse than dungeon drops.

every day or every other day my entire cool downs go into crafting 3 gloves.
still nothing good. not even a 2 perker im looking for. and im rolling with a sundering shockwave mod. im using a hand me down shirk fort + shockwave glove still.
Why only from crafting? Why every game players who do not play the game, just buy things in market, never leave city should be the ones who holds the most expesivite items? Why the dude who don’t like pvp is getting all, and the one who doing pvp, playing the game he needs to be depended of the crafter person?
For me it’s simple you are pvp player, doing pvp activites, get best pvp gear, wanna be a crafter ok, fine, craft best items for you if this is the way you want to get best gear, if you are a pve player and love to do expeditions, ok get the best gear from expeditions. The best in this game is that no matter what path you choose, you can keep improve yourself and i love it.
The key is COMPARABLE effort.
When people win-trade to advance PvP, it is by no means comparable to the other routes.
When people simply shop the Trading Post, especially with RMT money, that is simply not comparable to other routes.
The loopholes available to PvP is why the devs should be stingy with the rewards. Or make those rewards strictly PvP only and when you are not flagged they are Expertise 500 with no upgrade possible.
Right now crafting is one of the most grindy routes, and needs revision. It also provides the loophole that people who don’t craft can just buy stuff off the trading post, which encourages RMT.
What would fix it is more perk control (not just one slot), BUT also make the result Bind on Pickup if you do that.
The way I see it, the only people this really hurts is the dominating pvp companies. The ones who have money to just mass craft until BiS is made. Its evening the playing field and thats bad for established companies.
