PvP scaling still seems to be bad?

No. It’s a waste of time of both players time. You suck at PvP, and that’s why you dislike scaling.

I’m running around for hours without finding a single person flagged because of the idiots that wanted nerfed scaling. Nobody wants to flag anymore because it’s pointless, and getting one-shot by someone always has and will always be terrible game design.

There should some form of gear and player progression for wpvp for getting stronger and grinding out the gear , not hold some noobs hand because they dont wanna spend the time gearing to be completive in wpvp . This gearing system is wayyyyy better then wow or bdo system , so i believe in player progression .

That already exists. It’s called literally all the stats, attributes bonuses, improved consumables, and passives you get from leveling and having tier 5 gear.

You aren’t avoiding this. Say you want to one-shot low-level players or stop talking.

nah more like you want the game to hold your hand for you because you cant handle that pvp happened and just expect to have the same stats as someone whos been working hard to get better gear for wpvp , with doing the bare minimum .

This system is way way way way way better then wows current pvp system by far .

my point still stands there will never be a way to fully balance world pvp unless they make gear and player progression meaningless . Because clearly they’ve changed it now many tomes and no matter what people are still not happy .

I’M THE ONE THAT WANTS TO PVP MORE PLAYERS IN AN EQUAL SETTING YA DUNCE. How is wanting your gear to carry you not the literal definition of hand-holding bad PvP players? There is a way to balance it. It’s called scaling, and everyone in the closed beta who enjoyed PvP applauded it.

They very specifically made the decision to remove skill based combat from this game in closed beta.

Sounds like a constitution build. Stacking health is very powerful.

there will always be pvers that wont flag , ive run into plenty of people pvping tho its fine how it is.

It’s also stupid. You shouldn’t be able to out-DPS people that actually put points into the damage stats while stacking tons of health.

Still avoiding what I said because you know it’s true. People that want gear-based PvP are trash at PvP. Play WoW if you want that experience. Oh wait, NO ONE IS FLAGGED IN THAT GAME EITHER!

Think about what combination of fighting style you are blending… Maybe you are still set in WoW skill sets as PvP is an art not just handed to you kiddos.

  1. they killed it when they added that horrid SL gearing system
  2. wpvp been dead for wow for years only because of the faction imbalances

That is why i want this game to thrive and not have any carebear features added , finally everyone is out world pvping theres battles its great . Its the only mmo rn that ive played so far that has actual world pvp and its great .

that is what makes this game great there are no classes set in stone you can main whatever weapons you want .

You do less damage than most people with a con build actually. Especially if you are a mage.
The tradeoff however is worth it because people that don’t increase con very much have such low HP pools that the lack of damage doesn’t matter.

I can’t speak for the gear the ganker was using, but most of my gear was lvl 3-5 and I was a level 12 and they were 18 or 19. So I had very weak gear which was likely worse than his. The difference was I had outplayed him by going LOS and using my dodges with medium gear more effectively.

EDIT: This is the only example I have as most people were staying away from me as I was leveling so this isn’t proof that my experience is standard. To your greater point I think gear and level should have relevancy, because if not, what is the purpose of upgrading? I also would not be opposed to a structured PvP section of the game where everyone was equal, but not in world pvp.
