PvP server for disappointed community

I think AGS has noticed that the PvP community is more than just disappointed after seeing the roadmap for 2023. I think also that it takes months now to develop something to earn our trust back.
I suggest to give us a PvP server this year in december! Not next year and not after some months!!
It doesnt need much resources to give us a PvP server and it doesnt need you to develop any new content. Just make the server go live and everyone who leaves a town or settlement will automatically be flagged for PvP. (like this is will be also the only bot free server :stuck_out_tongue: )
Game will drop back to 10k - 20k players after fresh start server hype is dead and the most servers will be merged with legacy servers.
If there is someone at the AGS team who cares then give us the PvP servers we asked for a long time and save your game for at least 6 months and the PvP Community wont mind waiting 6 months for new PvP content.
We need PvP servers in DECEMBER 2022!!!
Save your game with low effort just like you did with fresh start servers.

If they have lost your trust don’t play. Anything else is pointless to discuss. I for one love this game but hate the fact that established companies own everything, and no one can take them down, but I still play.

A lot of us still play but the moment a new mmorpg comes we will just leave if thats the state of PvP in new world. There is no valit point in not giving us at least one PvP server to see how it goes.
During the last months they deleted and created so many servers so just one PvP server wont make any trouble for them.

PvP players as a whole have generated alot the issues… same as a PvP always flagged server, Ive already seen many posts complaining about needing to farm and do pve to get gear etc but how you think that’s Gunna go on a PvP server with no over people to farm those things for you… I understand the appeal of PvP worlds but most PvP players these days wouldn’t know how to take a loss and complain or stop pvping when they can’t win, it’s like putting two very aggressive bears in an arena that kill anything that moves, both bears won’t come out alive and as soon as one dies the content disappears, PvP would kill each other off in same way without any system to hand you ‘BiS’ gear without any work at which point you would fundamentally be changing the game not just faciliting pvp

PvP only servers work well in other mmorpgs and at least one server would also work well in this game.
Someone who plays on a PvP servers should know what he is doing and why he is playing there.
Just one server to try and see how things go will not hurt anyone.
If there is something that has hurt the community then it was fresh start servers that killed a lot of legacy servers …just to get merged back again soon…
You dont enjoy PvP then just stay on an “PvE” server but after one year of begging the dev team its finally time to give us something.

But PvP players want to kill anything that’s not an ally, who that enjoys PvP is Gunna die over and over trying farm trees and metals etc for the gear you pvpers all need? Without twisting game mechanics commonly done by pve players unflagged who on PvP server is Gunna farm all the mats, generate all the gold, etc all under PvP conditions? Pvpers already hunt known pve areas to get their fix killing flagged pve players trying to use the extra luck so who’s Gunna put up with that as a PvP player as I know sub partition of player base who’s fun is PvP resource farming

If you are scared about PvP layer then just stay on a PvE server and never flag for PvP. Nobody is forcing you into something.

I play the game since release and the only open world PvP or hunts i ever saw in this game happened in great cleave when PvP track was announcend. Unfortunately PvE cry babies could barely run the missions and got killed so they asked for a nerf and open world PvP got literally killed. There is no open world PvP in this game anymore. If you get cought randomly by someone while being flagged well that happens. If you are not better than him than thats your problem if you get clapped. Both have the same chance to win and to fight for the win.
I for myself would only allow to gather high level expensive resources when you are flagged for PvP but since thats goes to far i just ask for one PvP server so everyone can enjoy the game he wants.

I’m trying to be nice and have a discussion here but the short sightedness I’m finding common in pvpers is starting to happen… when I said PvP players hunting pve player flagged for luck where in that statement made you think great cleave PvP missions? Please try and look full picture and not pounce on a few words of a statement cos I would love to know how great cleave PvP missions have anything to do with pve player using flag for luck

never saw anyone hunting since thats not giving any advantage in this game. You get no good drops and the ExP you get is also a joke and far away from being worth hunting or searching for PvP flagged people. Also killing the same player right away or even after waiting for 30 minutes and longer got nerfed to the ground because of great cleave PvP missions that were a great thing.
I guess you just run into another guy that was doing the same thing as you big he was better and killed you. You would have had done the same to him and im pretty sure you tried to fight back.

Well at least I got a comment finally that allowed me to know your an actual correct PvP player… I used to PvP nearer to start of game as like you I enjoy the competition, competitiveness and rewards that can follow but the issue is most pvpers aren’t like that, they were in the beta and that’s part the history why north side windward is the designated dueling spot but pvpers for competition like you are a majority alot the people who flag and PvP these days aren’t not killing cos no reward from it, they are killing anyway cos they get to feed some form a K/D based ego and that’s their win very few people remain that want to PvP amd not just wanting to be the winner cos they are effectively seal clubbing… there are some like you but many have quit game at this point when the K/D padding pvpers game people like you a bad name by proxy

Yea give me „red is dead server” In current state this game is too easy to not be full loot.

Imagine the “toxic PvP players” as you call us would get a PvP server. Wouldnt that benefit you because all that toxic pvp players would meet on one very very evil server :wink: and leave you alone so you can enjoy your pvp luck bonus while gathering? :wink:
Sounds like a win win situation to me.
Pretty sure if they add one PvP server then it will have thousands of people sitting in queues and waiting to join everyday.
Back in the days when release happened and server names were announcement then the community made its own unofficial PvP servers like Hellheim for example and those were booming and they had great wars.
Unfortunately the game had other problems during that time so as we all know it kinda died and was at around 10 k players because of questionable decisions from the dev team. Gladly things started changing at least later.

The amount of logical leaps and assumptions in this comment is astounding. How do you know that any of the dynamics you’re describing will actually happen?

The “PvP players won’t do the necessary PvE content” argument that I’ve seen several times is laughable because that’s what PvP players are expecting from an MMO. They know they’ll be engaging in some PvE to progress/make money. If they wanted to PvP and only PvP 100% with no exceptions, they’d go play LoL or another matchmaking game.

Even if that weren’t true, the market would adjust and further incentivize time spent gathering/PvEing. Other games do this with no issue.

Ive literally seen multiple post from PvP players complaining that pve dungeons are their only real source umbrals, that there to much PvP gear locked behind pve content so it’s not really an assumption that PvP players don’t want to do that stuff if they are already disliking the amount pve needed to their PvP to remove the pve players that help that content cycle for PvP players to get the gear or are you trying to tell me by removing pve players that PvP people are going to enjoy running dungeons to get umbrals etc?

There’s a difference between “PvP players want meaningful progression from PvP” and “PvP players refuse to engage in PvE content, so we shouldn’t offer it to them”.
