Why are people making a distinction between PVE players and PVP players like it was two totally different physical persons?
For example, myself, enjoy both activities, and during the day, maybe I will enjoy more PVE stuff, and at night, more PVP. Some times, I enjoy cutting wood while watching Netflix, sometimes, I enjoy joining a group and capturing/defending a Fort.
You don’t need to do PVP all the time or PVE all the time… It’s not one or the other. You can be both.
You want to incentivize PVP? That’s perfectly fine as I enjoy it too… but then… incentivize PVP! More activities, more rewards that are actually pvp oriented, etc… Don’t incentivize a PVE activity for PVP… I don’t get the logic there. You are just annoying (as the many post in the forums prove) those who want to do more PVE… while it gives PVP players literally nothing more to do… except ganking people that are farming in PVE gear.
Hard to do pvp when I have my pve gears in the inventory. I do chest runs, corruption run, and gathering all the time. I don’t want to keep going back to town to place them in storage just to go out to to open world to pvp. There is a reason why our bags can carry a lot of weight. If dying in pvp don’t affect my duration I’d definitely have pvp on more often.
