Instead of logging onto the PTR to do 3v3s for fun, I thought it would be more beneficial to actually understand the full scope of PvP activities, and how much PvP XP and Azoth Salt are rewarded. If you know of any other details, please post below! (I also don’t know if this information is available elsewhere, so I apologize for the additional post).
Capping a Fort/Control Point
1000 PvP XP, 300 Azoth Salt (Basline)
- 1050 PvP XP (with Fort RW Active for your faction)
- 330 Azoth Salt (with Fort EF Active for your faction)
I later tested capping the fort with someone else in my party, and we both got XP and Salt.
Having Control of the Forts Influences ALL PvP Rewards
Faction Missions
500 PvP XP, 400 Azoth Salt each mission (baseline), in every zone at lvl 60
- 525 PvP XP (with Fort RW Active for your faction)
- 440 Azoth Salt (with Fort EF Active for your faction)
Open World PvP Killing Blow
1,600 PvP XP, 3100 Azoth Salt (baseline?)
I’m not entirely sure how frequently this is awarded though. My first kill of the day, I got the XP, Salt, and Blood Medallion. However, I couldn’t farm that person for Salt and XP. It seems like when killing a player who would normally give a Blood Medallion, you also get the XP and Salt.
Arenas
Win 0, 1 Round(s): 250 PvP XP, 0 Azoth Salt
Win 2 Rounds: 500 PvP XP, 0 Azoth Salt
Win 3 Rounds: 750 PvP XP, 400 Azoth Salt
- Faction Control Points also influence this outcome. For example, Winning 3 Rounds gives 787 PvP XP, 440 Salt.
My numbers on this may be incorrect, because what I am experiencing in the PTR vs. what is said in the patch notes don’t seem to add up. For instance, Winning 1 Round seems like it would give 350 PvP XP based on the notes, but in PTR it seemed like I was getting only 250 PvP XP.

No idea for Win/Loss ![]()
War
No idea for Win/Loss
But with Invasions not being active in the PTR currently, maybe people will be encouraged enough to push influence to have a war and test it!
