What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
Ran to Howling Falls.
Get message about Quest Encounter and to press J
Press J and get Quest information
Don’t have the required Item to call Alpha
No direction on where to acquire item (Musk)
Tried to loot active (Sparkles) chest, Get animation of circle after pressing E, but stops at end and does nothing. Cant get items, have to press space or other key to break out.
Another player came into the cave and did the quest. I saw the entire sequence in the Quest frame (J) key pressed including a red timer for I assume to reset?
This is happening on Live as well. Says to Place the Musk, and I see where there is a glowing spot on the ground, but E never pops up, and I don’t have any Musk in my Inventory.
Hitting this with every ‘Quest Encounter’ I run into. The last two were the wolf den near First Light with the musk and some emblem thing near Saircor.
Ran into this as well, First Light, Howling Cave, “place the musk to lure the alpha”. No musk, but there’s a little ‘smelly’ (brown glow) place on the ground. If I attempt to leave the area, it warns me I am abandoning the quest.
Same here in Dankfur Hollow as well as Saircor. Was this not tested at all, or is your test environment so different from your live environment that it would work in one and not the other?
Can we get a developer to please acknowledge the existence of this issue?
