Same issue here on Delos - no ‘Water logged spirits’ anywhere on the island with the questmarker or surrounding area. Only spirits in the area are ‘Starved Ghost’ and ‘Thundering Phantom’.

Describe the issue you are experiencing: The quest states "Collect water spirit essence from (blank). At location where the ‘blank’ is supposed to be there are no ‘Water Logged Spirits’ which some have referenced for this quest. I have no instances of corruption portals on the island there is literally just no quest mobs.
Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can not continue the story line in Cutlass Keys
(if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Nope

Cant believe its almost 3 weeks now and this quest is still not fixed. Really, AGS deserves the hate its getting.

It would be brilliant if you guys indeed were working on these, but there are quests reported from mid December 21, that are still not fixed. Maybe actually do it? Or at least give some updates on it, I swear down, you guys are worse than Bethesda, and that is not easy… No wonder people are still leaving this game. Try harder maybe? Tir Na Nog EU. Then there is also Traitorous Weaponry from Monarch’s Bluff (a lvl 13 quest), and Til Death Do Us Part (Elite) quest from Brightwood. Several reports given, no reply.

Same issue, crazy this is still not fixed. Luckily I’ve only been playing a few weeks so it will be easy to quit this game. Poorly ran

For everyone.

I have been having the same issue. I cleared the corruption at the spawn point, there were only 2 ghosts that were spawning in the area. I just sniped them and pulled them closer to the actual mission area, and was able to complete this quest.

This was after the newest update and the following patch.

I found the mobs for this quest on the island directly south of the island with the quest marker…

Fixed in the last update! My server no longer had an incomplete quest item (monster name missing) and I found the “ghosts” on both islands and completed both parts to turn in. Nice!
