Describe the issue you are experiencing: Quest named “Paths Unseen” spawn too many ghost to continue from previous questers’ failure so after you activate the rocks, you are suppose to fight waves of enemies but they never came.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: activate the rocks from the quest before you “Defend against the Marooned Pirates” If you go to the cave right now, you can see a lot of those purple ghost which are elites spawned and its impossible to kill them all to continue the quest.
Every time someone interacts with the rocks it spawns 2 more geists. The CD on the rocks is only a couple minutes so even 1 person can keep re-interacting with the rocks to keep spawning pairs of geists. They don’t seem to despawn so there is the potential for a lot of enemies stacked up there.
The exact same issue occurs with the tiger boss Rajah in Ebonscale.
I just got pass it thanks to server reset and all the elite mobs are gone, just make sure you are strong enough to handle 2 of those elites since they stun or else its going to happen again with ppl not able to kill both elites and the few mobs after.
Can we get a dev or someone to comment on this? Literally can’t complete the quest because of the mobs from before not despawning. This is a hinderance to doing missions in this zone…
Literally, none of the Reekwater quests work. This is unacceptable. I’m fighting armies of wrongly spawned mobs and died like 100 times already.
The quests that did not work for me are:
Shivering Timbers
Burden of Atonement
Paths Unseen
You guys should review all the quest spawning mobs that must be killed and fix them alltogether. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen other quests in Reekwater behaving in the same way, but managed to work around them. This is really weird. This topic should ne renamed to “Issue with all Reekwater quests where quest mobs remain spawned after not being killed disallowing players to complete the quest chains and proceed to lvl 60”.
Hopefullt these issues will be threated with high priority and get fixed in the next patch!
