Quest 'Reaper's Locus (Expedition)' unavailable after finishing 'Lost and Returned' quest and being correct level

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
  1. Complete the quest ‘Lost and Returned’ from Lau Kang in Brightwood.
  2. Be level 33 or higher (currently level 35).
  3. Return to Lau Kang in Brightwood.
  4. Observe no available quest despite meeting pre requisites

Note: Observed on log in when standing next to Lau Kang. Noticed a ‘Quest available’ icon above the NPCs head while loading in. Once load finished, the icon disappeared and no quest was available once interacted with the NPC.

This is also happening on Midian server as well. Very annoying since there are 3 quests available to pick up for the new expedition, but we’re stuck at 2/3 quests working. Logging back in, in front of the quest giver didn’t even give me the symbol that she has a quests.

I finished all Brightwood quests and I don’t have this quest. I’m level 39.

I currently have the same issue.

I do not know if I completed the Lost and Returned quest, but I can see that she does not offer any quests either.

Quest unlocked after finishing the elite quest ‘Heart of Darkness’. So apparently not an issue, just online sources stating that the ‘Lost and Returned’ being the only quest pre requisite is incorrect.

I have completed all the quests that Tunstall Pennyfather and Lau Kang offer. The Heart of Darkness quest was never offered to me.

Had that problem too. Not sure if finishing “Heart of Darkness” or reaching standing lvl 10 in brightwood fixed it for me, since both happened at the same time.

I’ve reached standing level 10, but for some reason the heart of darkness quest was never offered to me after I completed the other quests leading up to it.
