Question about the winter event luck weapons

Does anyone know you get luck from both weapons? or just the one thats out?
Also does the luck only work with your weapon out, like can you sheathe your weapon and open a chest and stlll get luck from the weapon? Or does it have to be out?

I asked this about shields once and was told it had to be out. They do have to be out in order to gain any of the other bonuses such as to attributes or the additional benefits perks give an item.

However, wait for more responders as what I was told was likely pure hearsay.

To gain the stats from your shield, you have to have a sword equipped… once your sword is equipped, you gain the stats from both.

As in… if you have a great axe, and a sword, you gain the stats from both, but you don’t get the stats from the shield, until you’re using your sword.

So if IM using an axe and warhammer, ill have the luck from both weapons working?

If you can hold Them in your Hand at the Same time, yes.

But thats Not working.
